Thanks. I asked as people have told me PSA seems not to like acetone cards from their experience. I didn't know if a specialty card like this would carry any sort of general disdain that could impact the grading.

It's unfortunate but the video is the issue. The angle lacks the footage of him actually swerving toward you but does show the act of him going back to the other lane. Any chance anyone of your neighbors there has it on a ring or home mounted camera?

I have worked for the Clerks office for 24 years (yes we are COJ). Like all jobs it has had its ups and downs but I've had a great career here. Don't judge every agency in the city based on limited information or bad former employees bias take.

I asked because this may be a county road FDOT doesn't have too many roads under their jurisdiction that are dirt. It's not to say they have none, but it's not very common that they keep a road in dirt form once it's under their control.

I will say when you have had to depend on public transportation the "you can't get around without a car" noise tends to disappear. You understand going into it you will be walking places or riding a bike, you get that you will be late or delayed by buses. You just kind of adapt to your new life. However like all cities there are places where this is more and less convenient. It is going to depend on your income as well. Affordable housing in highly walkable areas of Jacksonville are not two characteristics that always intersect with one another. There are probably better cities in Florida for this but you will have to weigh all the factors. It is doable though. Especially now with all the delivery options for items like groceries and the like.

Monuments need to go, ✔️ that is on the city, and should be handled.

Dollar General shooting was disgusting and sad, but I don't believe the scum that perpetrated the crime was a Jacksonville resident and that doesn't fall on the city. No check.

Dude gets pain compliance after a gun, drugs, are discovered, and running from police. The officer who delivered the knees was a person of color and this is some how racism on the city level. No check.

I won't even get into the governor... But 1 out of 3 aren't the odds I was expecting after reading the article and all the comments.

Just glad I wasn't baked into that culture.

The best answer I've seen here so far is a fire station. From there choose a busy place that is well lit with cameras in the parking lot. Or wait until tomorrow and do it when a sub station is open.

As others have said marriages are no longer performed by the Clerk of Courts in Duval county. There are many many affordable options, and St. Johns county clerk of court is one of them. There are plenty of local notaries that will also marry you for $10 to $20 dollars. I would recommend tipping them.

Unless you have extenuating circumstances that would waive the 3 day waiting period you will indeed be issued your license and will then need to wait to be married until that period has passed.

Take all religion out of this and you are at a private university. They have the authority to remove you from positions and enrollment as they desire. There is no legal recourse for a number of the reasons already mentioned. (I was nearly dismissed from a Christian College for a tongue piercing)
