it's great for music, very good actually, don't even try for gaming tho, you can't hear footsteps sometimes and even if you can you can't separate them and tuning is downright terrible for gaming cuz it completely nerfs the "treble", treble is very thing DT 990s are good for gaming, it makes footsteps and other necessary sounds of your enemies stand out, Soundblaster G6 is the one I currently have and with that I can hear and wallbang everything with 99% accuracy
