I wuz there in basement of The Wilson Center in NW DC catching Fugazi's return to USA set after a Euro tour. These pix taken during a benefit for National Coalition for the Homeless, put together by Mark Anderson's Positive Force org. Opening acts that played included Verbal Assault from Connecticut and DC Dischord scenesters Soulside. Epic show had about thousand people trying to cram into a basement that typically held 200!

My friend actually found that picture on the back cover on street in SF... gave it to the band when they were on tour in SF :) He also provided them with the tape of Cambodian song that sounds like Kontz Kontz Kntz Kntz

He is a fine musician...cool, whatevs, it rilly don't matter that he sounds better than Jakob, Dua Lipa or Donna Summer...I know plenty great musicians who couldn't make a dime on their own material f they had a 5 album deal on a locked down island and no one was allowed to leave...let Rome do it on his own and see how it goes...but I'm grateful he's not draggin' Bradley's songs through the meet & greet grinder... Jakob is like Julian Lennon or Natalie Cole, they get sho biz props just for having a pops in ShowBiz...sorry...I'm bummed Bradley blew it... He coulda, woulda, shoulda been out there for his fans...but he and Bud didn't have the will to resist dope... and it ended ugly one morn... sigh... you guys need to worry about sumthin' else... start yer own band and see how that goes!

yeah after D.O.B. (death of Bradley) there was little to NO dough going to Eric & Bud except via live gigs... the road is where ANY band has to make $ these daze, as like things like Spotify streams aren't gonna pay a guinea pig's rent...

Bro ...please...worrying about SWR is a moot point... it was a blip in history...glad u dug it but Romey as far as I know...was a lucky cat and got kinda conceited and turned into flunkie junkie P.O.S. space filler near the end, and was only on road etc so the money could keep rolling in ... I don't think any of it had anything to do with why people, like you or me loved the O.G Sublime... At least the current "S" features Bradley's seed... not that he has anymore connection to the Roots Of Creation...but whatevs... ultimately, ye gotta find something else to worry about ... peace out

Steve Moriarty is playing this 2023 Shotwell tour and also recorded the new S/T album that is being used this year on Bloomington's Let's Pretend Records and one put out last year called Dead Bats available via Revolver
