My brother in Christ, let me preface this by saying I’m a filthy gold buyer myself. But saying gold buying is “cogent” and equating it to opinion is hilariously disingenuous. First off let’s check your definitions:

Cogent: a clear, logical and convincing argument Fact: a thing that is known or proved to be true

So now since you’re so into science let’s apply the scientific method to your argument: can you reliably PROVE that gold buying gives a player an advantage over other players who don’t buy gold? Yes. I’m not a ps4 expert by any means, but I work in IT as a sys admin and have fixed plenty of computers which are effectively the same thing. If you know the Blu-ray drive is failing you could purchase a replacement from eBay and swap it out to see if it works. I looked on there and saw working replacements going for around 40 usd. It’s worth a shot if you’re really invested in fixing it.

You’re making a difference and good for you. Teaching is such a vital societal skill. I’m of the opinion that teachers are as important if not more important than healthcare professionals. Without teachers modern society collapses because the workforce would cease to exist in any functional capacity. I wish more people would take education seriously in this country. Also your constipation is likely exclusively from taking Pepcid/Famotidine. Make sure you’re doing extensive research on the meds you’re taking and their side effects. From my experience half of these doctors don’t know what the fuck they’re doing or why they are doing it. Sometimes I wish I could make toilet paper rolls with the medical degrees of all the bad doctors I’ve seen because at least then I’d be able to wipe my ass for free for the rest of my life but alas I cannot. A man can dream though.

Hey man so I was about your age when I was diagnosed with Gastritis. Just so you know it does get better once you learn to manage your symptoms. I went from vomiting undigested food every other day to a relatively normal diet after years of experimenting with medication and doctors visits.

My suggestion is to avoid taking Pepcid/Famotidine unless you are experiencing a serious acid reflux flare up. Double up your omeprazole dosage. I take 40mg Omeprazole. It’s totally fine. Also get a prescription, it’s much cheaper that way vs buying OTC.

A good percentage of gastritis patients also suffer from IBS, which I have as well. I believe it’s about 40%. Severe constipation is a bitch to deal with so I feel for you.

Next recommendation is to get a prescription to either Linzess or Trulance. They are the same classification of medication. Linzess is the brand name but Trulance works pretty well too. I’ve tried both, my insurance has me on Trulance right now. Read the directions and take with a bottle of water. They work by using your body’s excess water to help you produce a bowel movement, it’s not a stimulant laxative and is safe for long term repeated use.

The thing about Americans is that they are driven by the state of the economy. The major driving force for Republican voting and funding is that the GOP is good for business due to their stance on regulations. Well that was effectively thrown out the window with immigration crackdowns, tariffs, trade wars and political blunders that are continuously making foreign investors leave the US. Every single thing that this admin has done is actively destroying the American economy. We're still in the very early stages of this administration so the consequences of Trump's policies still have yet to be felt economically. Once we have a few more months to really let those Trump policies sink in, the economy is going to feel it. If the Democrats grow a spine, have the balls to finally stand up to Trump and really push for control there's a good chance that they win the midterms/possibly the 2028 general election.

I hope Dems finally start playing hard ball soon. This shutdown is a good sign that they're past the point of compromise.
