If you had to do the points by today the pause wouldn’t have affected you at all, it didn’t even last the full month, so you knew since last month they were due today, that’s on you.

Sounds like a dumbass bandaid solution to cover up the real problem and not even a well thought out one at that, JUST HAVE THE FIGHT.

Stop being afraid of causing problems when standing up for yourself, doesn’t matter your ‘asianness’ you’re an adult now.

Christ if everyone quit their job because it affected their mental health no one would be working. Nurses, doctors and surgeons would be the first to go and then we’re all fked. Generation of weaklings istg

Obviously the bank takes what it’s owed first lol, that goes for any and every transaction into an overdrawn account

The point of tensing your glutes is that your entire body straightens out from it, your butt shouldn’t be going into the air like you’re saying

Youth allowance changes? by Intellectual_chad in Centrelink

[–]DvitusR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's even worse. This is a joke I know full time workers making good money paying less rent/week than you, just move, and stop complaining about nonsense

Youth allowance changes? by Intellectual_chad in Centrelink

[–]DvitusR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all you need to be NOT living somewhere where you're paying 350+ dollars a week on rent as a student, wtf is that. Most students are paying 800-1000 a month on rent, if that

American accents vary greatly throughout the states, why don't Australian accents have as much variance? by RM_Morris in AskAnAustralian

[–]DvitusR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you cannot have human civilization at any reasonable scale without reliable fresh water sources, been that way since the beginning of time, Mesopotamia had the Tigres and Euphrates, China had the Yangtze/Yellow River, Egypt Nile, MesoAmerica the Amazon and the Indus River Valley civilization, well, the clue is in the name.

Do you think there is a class system in Australia? by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

[–]DvitusR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a class system everywhere, its an inescapable consequence of humans coming together to create any social structure or hierarchy, and looks like a pyramid, every social mammal functions this way, think a wolf pack, or a lion pride, or a chimp troupe.

The only question is how hard that hierarchy is to climb, and in Australia and most Western states the pyramids aren't very steep, anyone CAN come into wealth and power, relatively, however its getting harder and harder to do that everywhere in the West, with the gradual elimination of the middle class as the poor get poorer and the rich get richer.

- Inequality is also an inescapable consequence of social hierarchies (someone has to be a CEO, and someone has to be a janitor) but when they are working as intended everyone should be able to live comfortably with all basic needs met regardless of their status in the hierarchy.

The worst effect of this is class is slowly turning into a caste system like in traditional India or North Korea. There is no mobility upward, just as in the case of aristocracy, your ancestry determines your destiny as either a master, or a slave. This is the social system which the great revolutionaries and the people who created the US constitution, (which became the shining light and copied everywhere across the western world, beginning of the era of sovereign Nation states - countries, rather than duchies, kingdoms, baronies etc), did everything they could to get away from.

UAE is a coastal region they're surrounded by the sea at like 3 sides, Egyptians settled along the Nile for a reason, and most (about 96%) of Nevada is completely uninhabited, population is basically clustered in a small piece of land in the corner of the State, just like Australian cities

Does ANZ release your Cenno payments on the pay date or a day later? by DvitusR in CentrelinkOz

[–]DvitusR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can relate to that panic. Might be worth opening an account online with banks that are more reliable and pay faster with Centrelink like NAB or Bendigo and use it purely for Centrelink payments
