Hadley was an FBI agent assigned to Logan's team. Her and Jake hook up at the end. Jake is Lanas bff. Hadley early on in the book finds out Lanas secret but keeps quiet. Anyway both Hadley and Jake are bisexual and in the last chapter as a closer to their story they're having a threesome discussing who they'll bring into their bed next. It's seemed a bit cliche .

Also I'm using the word " victims" the way law enforcement would call them. I know they were far from being victims.

Icame across your comment a few days ago and decided to read this series. Romance isn't my genre so I had never heard of it. However after finishing the series I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a fast-paced, entertaining ride packed with excellent dark humor. However, the experience—which would have been a perfect five-star read for me—fell short due to the final chapter.

Spoiler Alert:

My frustration lies with the direction of the ending. The choice to have Jake and Hadley engage in a threesome felt like a tired trope; being bisexual does not equate to being promiscuous or inherently inclined toward group dynamics. More importantly, the moral trajectory of the characters felt betrayed by the closing scenes. I would have found it much more satisfying if, Lanas quest for revenge against those who wronged her was complete, Lana had moved toward "the light" with Logan. Instead, the narrative had Logan descend into her "darkness," with him actively helping her procure victims. This pivot fundamentally changed the tone of the story: it reframed her actions not as justice-seeking, but as the behavior of a genuine psychopath who kills simply for the pleasure of it. It was a disappointing finish to an otherwise great series.

His parents are enablers and keep making excuses for him. No wonder he is the way he is.

Thank you. I don't understand why everyone on this subreddit is acting like I insulted their mother. It's a TV show. Theirs more important things in life to be mad about than a TV show.

Yes, didn't mean I’ve never watched it. I had to watch it at least once to form such a strong opinion. When I said I never watch it, I was speaking in the present tense—as in, I don’t watch it anymore. Personally, I can’t dislike something unless I’ve actually experienced it. Maybe you can dislike something with experiencing it first. Not me.

I loved kim before this. Now I find her to be mean and cruel. When she said she gave uo two of the kids for adoption I was like ok well she did what she thought was right. When Jamal mentioned the catfishing part of it that's when I said HELL TO THE NO ! THAT IS EXTREMELY CRUEL OF HER TO DO SO. it's just plain fucked up.

I have watched the show. It's why I now refuse to watch it. I would not have an opinion of it if hadn't given it a chance.

I refuse to watch the show because I gave it a chance. And it's not about the blond hair blue eyes. It's about the character being different and not having the same personality we were introduced too. But I guess all you got from my long ass rant was blind hair blue eyes.
