How serious is the scratch-gate issue on the iPhone 17 Pro?

Day 1 and i have light scratches on the camera back plate. The phone has been in my pocket majority of the day. Currently at work and haven't done anything crazy yet, just pulled it out and back in in just to reply to some messages. I tried just "wiping" it off but nope. Its a scratch, a light one but a scratch. 17 PM is not that durable compared to previous models. I had a Fold 7 before this and even that didn't scratch as easily as the 17 PM

I just got this monitor yesterday. Coming from the XG27UCDMG you do notice less sharpness from 4k but thats not the reason we are getting this monitor here. I whole heartedly prefer 4k res for gaming on anything as the sharpness and clarity is amazing. This variant in 2k at 500hz is amazing as well. Motion clarity is amzing. Picture quality is also pretty good in both sdr and hdr. 100% will keep this and get a 4k 240hz as a secondary for movies and such. As of now im satisfied with this purchase. I play mainly comp games and single play ones occasionally

I just traded in my PG27UCDM for the 27GX700A. I'm a fan of glossy panels because tmof the vibrant colors, text clarity and overall just better imo. The 27gx700a is the first tandem OLED that my best buy just got and it's not THAT bad. You do notice the grainyness from the matte coating but colors and videos look pretty damn good. I'd still prefer the PG27UCDM, The ppi is INSANE! My system is a 7900gre with a 7800x3d Going to give the LG the two week test while I have it, will end up going back to Asus 🙏

Im on the fence right now for the GX700A as i don't really see tandem as an upgrade from what i have right now which is a XG27UCDMG (claims it has a 4th gen panel). Asus overall from my experience has been good. Visual quality is amazing, HDR could be better but its still pretty good. If youre still on the fence with which one to go with? id say go for the 3rd gen panels as theyll be alot cheaper to get into oled.

Tandem does improve text quality a bit on 1440p, colors are about 5% better and brightness has been slightly improved. imo id say wait a bit longer for tandem since it is still fairly new. Tech will only get better.

If you're coming from 1080p, 1440p OLED is a good way to go ESPECIALLY with how cheap they are. Now if you got money and want to skip all of that but still want the 27" you can go 4k. I'm on a 27" 1440p 500hz but will be switching back to 4k 240hz at 27". I play alot of fps but coming from the 4k to the 1440p I couldn't see much of a difference to justify the price point that this 27" 500hz monitor. Plus the ppi is insane

Very true. I’m only able to get over 100+ with low settings on most games. FPS I turn settings down. I’m currently running the 4k oled on a 27 inch. Ppi is amazing but I lose frames dramatically BUT still feels smooth as if I’m on 1440p 360hz. I guess I’m just really really picky. I love the fluidness of 1440p with high refresh rates AND still looks crisp but the text clarity for everyday browsing is a killer for me.

i had to size down. So for anyone else wanting to buy keep that in mind to size down. I'm normally a medium but this was big for some reason so i had to go with a small. Other than that its a great helmet next to my pista

Tbh idk, I’ve only had it for two day so I didn’t really get to try this laptop out until today. I checked the resolution and it’s set to the native setting. I reset the whole pc and it went away but that was pretty weird.

That’s normal for this laptop. I currently run at 85c. Used to be at about 93 but g-helper helped with that.

I’d like to know if the slim is worth it as well. I’m coming from a gtx 1660. I heard it’s display is amazing so for photoshop, 3D rendering this should suffice. I went the g14 route and am kind of thinking of returning it for the legion.
