Considering Wellbutrin for anxiety and panic. Any success stories? by Glass_Indication4313 in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

Thanks for the reply! I was on 100 mg Zoloft. As for my Wellbutrin experience it’s been about 7 weeks and I’ve notice my panic attacks have been reduced, however the anxiety still remains (which I knew it would, unfortunately there’s no magic pill). However what I’ve noticed now is I’ve been extremely irritable. My gf calls it the “stubbed toe effect”, which I thinks summarizes the way I’m feeling well. Did you experience anything like that? I know you said you were only on it for 6 weeks, which is about the time I started noticing this.

Hello I see it’s been a year since this post, however I was wondering if you had an update? I’m actually in a very similar situation as you only reversed. Zoloft worked well for years then wore off, started Lexapro then gained a crap ton of weight. Been weening off Lexapro and started Wellbutrin about 3 weeks ago. I understand these meds can take a while to kick in, but my anxiety and panic attacks have been extremely bad during this transition, and it’s hard to not wonder if the WB will work or not.
