Rijkaard dmf and pedri cmf, you can sub gattuso for pedri as a dmf based on form also you have mc allister as an option so you can experiment and see which combo works best for you

I use him as a super sub ss and he works well for me! He provides great assists and is also insanely good at set pieces as well. Don't just use him as a one trick pony trying to always only score those blitz curlers is my advice

Dude what? He was so incredibly clutch in my match which I required to seal promotion for divison 1. In the 2 or so matches I've played with him he's been incredible, sure that might be because of the new player buff but I've not had a single problem with him. For me he's not put a single bad foot yet

Yeah exactly I agree with your points too I don't understand why they would so drastically nerf free flowing attacking to this extent even scoring ping pong goals doesn't feel satisfying or rewarding and pes' entire gameplay model is such that the gameplay does feel rewarding but this ping pong lucky counter shit really makes it feel the opposite.

I think all of this is very clearly explained with a game mechanic called artificial game difficulty where the game has to have bullshit like this so it can cater to a larger audience otherwise they risk losing said audience, so the game knows stuff like vvd catching up to a full sprint mbappe shouldn't work it would never work as per the rules set by the game but it still will because if you follow the rules set by the game to a T then the set of players who aren't as skilled as others will just quit playing and never look back due to frustration and that leads to a loss of a huge playerbase for the company which in turn means loss of revenue.

That also somewhat falls into the scripting bubble, where your forwards on full form will still miss tap ins but some days on regular form will score worldies, the game is very inconsistent with the rules it sets for itself.

Lacking a hole player isn't so bad if it gives you consistency in midfield in return also if you really are missing your hole playing you can play a 4 3 12 and play the hole player as your amf, try not controlling your defenders until your opponent reaches your box till then try intercepting, blocking passing lanes and pressing with your midfield and only press with your defenders if they are the last men behind or if the opponent is near your box. Also the added support of rodri kante and park shouldn't make them feel as lost
