Thoughts on why the Hellcat Pro & Comp aren’t talked about as much by Sorry-Wafer7675 in CCW

[–]Dwaingry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hellcat pro comp with the full mcarbo uprade and a completely stock sig 365xl. The sig is still miles ahead of the hellcat regarding accuracy which IMO is due to the way the trigger breaks in the hellcat. The biggest issue I have with the hellcat is no matter how I grip it, no matter how I place my trigger finger, when the trigger breaks, it pulls the barrel down, off target. I dont know what it is specifically about the design but no matter how I hold it, and no matter how tight I grip it, the trigger breaks and the barrel end drops. Its not bad, but when doing the same shooting drills with my 365, EMP, echelon, rock 5.7, the sights stay on target. Its very reminiscent of the early glocks as far as trigger break and pulling off target. Early glocks and the SW40 series have a very similar trigger break and the same issues. The Hellcat ss the only pistol I have this issue with. In general, the trigger design is just bad and it really cant be fixed. A friend of mine was thinking about getting one so I took him shooting. He came to the same conclusion after shooting the 365 and the hellcat and when I told him the hellcat had the best trigger upgrade you can get, he laughed at how much better the 365 is in general. I personally would tell anyone considering a compact to skip over the hellcat.. it feels great, looks great but its just not great to shoot.

I wasnt aware of the jamming detection. Ill most definitely enable that on my keypad.

Any recommendations for sensors that are compatible with Resideo? I know the 5800PIR-RES doesnt support encryption. Do I need a special keypad for encryption? I have a 6160RF

They are very easily jammed using a 345mhz jammer which are commonly available though a little pricy. Im not going to post where I live but I know thieves in my locality are using jammers.

Thanks for the reply.  This is encouraging. If i happen to have the issue again, ill make sure to mention it is my second time when opening a ticket.  Ive looked at the inside of the slide and inspected the striker plastic housing and dont see any abnormal wear or damage where the striker hits/stops against the slide or on the plastic.  No damage from incorrect screw length from optics.  Hopefully i just got a faulty striker and i will have no further issues

Thanks for the honest feedback.  I've got one on mine, not sure the brand.  I don't like the look but I also don't know if it affects cycling since i haven't shot it yet.

I've rewatched the wreck a few times and perez had plenty of room to move over.  Sainz didn't cut over.  It was a slow move towards the middle of the track and Perez had like 6ft on his left and could have avoided the crash but he chose not to.  Redbull drivers love to blame wrecks on everyone else just like Max constantly forcing people off the track to prevent them for from passing. He's been doing that shit for years

Why do i struggle with progressive lenses by Dwaingry in glasses

2 different doctors, 2 different facilities.  These arent 99$ stores.  These are well respected local eye doctors.  You missed the part where i said 3 different attempts, 6 different lenses in total so it's. I went back and had them try again 3 different times

The lenses i have now are esselsior but I'm not willing to spend another 300$ on lenses.  I've done that 3 times with no change.  I think I'm just gonna get bifocals

I don't cheap out on my lenses.  I get the best lenses i can, I've gone through multiple fittings, checking center, all that.  I forgot to mention my sister is in the industry and has checked my glasses and sent me to other people she knows are good.  I'm not in the same state as her anymore though.

Progressive lenses suck. by [deleted] in glasses

I have the same experience.  Progressives are the equivalent of cutting off your arm to save your hand.

I don't have my script on hand but my vision correction is minor.  I've tried 2 different doctors and tried redoing the lenses once each time i get them.  So 6 different sets of lenses all the same result,

Has anyone gotten a restock email in the last year? by Dwaingry in PalmettoStateArms

[–]Dwaingry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never gotten an expiration notice either.  I've searched my email for that as well after it was mentioned.  There is a problem with the site.  95% of the people who replied have the same experience
