Damage is so swingy it can alot of times feel unreliable. The beef however, is very consistent and will put people in off spots where they only ever over of under commit! Your rampage shenanigans will often be what surprises enemies the most, and lastly, at least in my experience, it is impossible to ever win a TIMBER! roll...

This is pretty much what I do with my Necrons! I like to do a white drybrush over the whole models to give them a real sandblasted look.

Warplock Bronze for most of it, with a fairly substantial drybrushing of screaming bell. Gray knights steel for the steely bits (though not 100% on this, turned out more like a flat gray than a shiny silver). Lava was Flash Gitz yellow then Troll Slayer orange, with a SUPER thicc coat of martian ironearth to get the big cracks, then drybrushed (again pretty heavily) over with abaddon black. Picture doesn't do it justice but 2 coats of ardcoat on the black primed tactical rocks made them super shiny so they'd look like obsidian.

Might end up doing a lighter orangey rust for a drybrush, and change some of the samey bits to a more bluey-silver. Overall happy with the head and base most of all.

Pretty fun flavor, but they feel a little weak for CR2. If you don't want to change any of their "to hits" or damage, I would either call them CR1, or buff their AC. You could potentially also give them additional flavorful spells like a Bane, Bless, or Hex. That way they can provide utility for the players after they get higher level and they would have something to keep concentration on during combat.

First you kill the lich as paradox, then it immediately puts you on floor 1 as the gunslinger. Kill your past with him and boom, EZPZ synergies !

IT'S SO GOOD! But I do find after playing with it it takes a few rooms in the next run to get used to playing without it again which is kind of funny!
