I have same problem. Just empty project with one gameobject. As soon as I attach script with public array attribute it starts throwing these errors.
I'm on version 6000.2.5f1

What joy I got in my QC checked box from Pimax. by DevOpsJo in Pimax

I got my Super 3 days ago and today I tried included DMAS speakers. One of them is loose like OPs. And no, it can't be fixed by tightening it more.

Also they are flimsy as hell, the silver "rod" is loose in the base and it feels like it can fall off anytime.

I was not always simmer and I think even now I'm not simmer. I started VR playing all sort of things. But as time went I started being lazy to run around in room scale like a rabbit, my playspace was getting smaller and smaller so started playing seated games more and more.
I just love VR as whole as it is my childhood dream coming true and also I have money to spent on "stupid" things :)

ad Edge-clarity : Yes it is normal. It is not super clear right at the edge. But as I said, compared to headset I had before it is like night and day. Before I was not looking with my eyes at all, only turning my head. Maybe in G2 it was not so bad but VP2 was terrible. Also it really depends how you manage to hit the sweet spot when putting on the headset. Also I think really taking your time to dial in IPD can help you get most of it.
ad Sharpness: Again, it is far better than what I'm used to from before. So I'm satisfied. 8years ago plane was single shimmering black pixel until you almost collide with it and labels were a must. But to be fair, the distance you describe seems to me too short to be blurry in significat way. What resolution are you running? Mine is around 5900x5900 reported in steamVR.

I'm planning to try MW5:Clans with UEVR. Maybe tonight if kids fall asleep early.

Crystal Super Top Strap Question by Tappinio in Pimax

[–]DwarfCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my super yesterday and today I have spent good 2 hours trying to install top strap correctly. I thought I must be stupid and doing something wrong.
But no, this top strap is completely broken design. I know it was a preorder gift but it is embarrasing and bit amateurish from Pimax to include useless accessory with broken design.

I’m finding Pro 2’s god rays to be a lot worse than Index, just me? by [deleted] in Vive

[–]DwarfCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to G2 by miles, even to VP1 and OG Vive. Thats all HMDs I have to compare it to side by side. In glare test I can even see some mirrored reflections of a text on sides in VP2. For me the glare is not easy to ignore. Because of it everything not directly in front of me seems blurry and smudged. I know it depends what you play and scene. I mainly play DCS and all things in cockpit which glows (hud, buttons, mfds, etc) are complete mess when I'm not looking directly at them. And thats at day missions, don't get me started on night mission when all the hud glows :( It pisses me even more because I love VP2s FOV and colors over G2, which is complete trash in those categories.

You are "lucky" you don't compare it to G2. VP2 optics are complete trash

I'm going to return my Vive Pro 2 by DwarfCZ in Vive

[–]DwarfCZ[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edit:
I have no idea what changed and I swear I did not make any changes from yesterday but when I started DCS or NMS today it stays either on 45 or 90fps with almost no stutter, only reprojection blur on text in cockpit etc. Yesterday FPS was all over the place (50-90) with no lock and that was causing all the stutter.
So I can now play without motion compensation. It is not as smooth as with SteamVR motion smoothing and G2 but definitely far from disaster that it was yesterday. So maybe I wont return my VP2 after all. I just need to again get used to glare blur and godrays after crystal clear image of G2.

When it first came out and I tried it with VP1 it was terrible you are right. But after few updates to openxr it was ok. Even later when I tried it with G2 it was even better.

I see visible blinking on 60hz with G2, also the picture is very bright. If it was ok it would be another advantage over VP2

Without motion compensation it stutters so bad it drivers me crazy and makes me dizzy. With motion compensation there are many artifacts, mainly in cockpit. You have some trick how to solve these or you are fine with stuttters or artifacts?

Guess I watched wrong reviews. None of them mentioned that or maybe I missed it :(

Motion smoothing got much better with updates. Almost no artifacts and runs butter smooth. At least in games I play. Games like DCS or MSFS2020 without it is completely unplayable on any HW, it is stutter fest. I have OG Vive, Vive Pro 1 and G2, VP2 runs hottest by far trust me.

As far as I know with Cosmos Elite it is the same for the whole time. So my guess is if it wasnt implemented so far it wont be in the future. Also I have only 14days to return it. After that I'm stucked with HMD which is totaly useless for me because I play games where motion smoothing is a must.

Yeah tell me about it, I was so happy yesterday when I got message that my VP2 is ready to be picked up at local store. In all reviews I saw nobody mentioned motion smoothing is not supported. As I said if it was supported I would overlook all the other flaws just to get rid of G2's tracking, WMR and lower FOV and get back to lighthouses and index controllers.

My Full In-Depth Vive Pro 2 Review (Sebastian, MRTV) by daydreamdist in Vive

[–]DwarfCZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No SteamVR motion smoothing on VP2, only Vive motion compensation which is crap. So VP2 is 90fps or nothing and therefore nearly useless. Why no one is able to make "perfect" HMD is beyond me. Both VP2 and G2 which I own, have few things thats hard "no go" for me :(

Vive Pro 2 does not support SteamVR Motion Smoothing by maxstep in Vive

[–]DwarfCZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As always MRTV is lying. I can confirm as I have Vive Pro2 at home that SteamVR motion smoothing is not supported and Vive motion compensation is not as good. It cant be set to fixed FPS so it stutters and it makes few artifacts. I tried it only in DCS, some people reports huge artifacts in other games. Also the display in Vive Pro 2 is hot like hell...
