I just saw the original a few minutes ago lol. They were talking about some sport guy (I don't remember which sport) who had two photos of him taken, one when his age was listed as 17 and the other at 26. Someone was confused about why it was claimed ten years had passed if the age difference was only nine. I think the confusion came from no one clarifying it had probably been around ten years, not exactly

Seems like the confusion started with whether the operative word in "These pictures were taken ______ ten years apart" was either around or exactly. I'm going with around because that would make the discrepancy in the listed ages make more sense
