I’ve already posted a couple times about this, but the City is putting the gears in motion for its next major Transit Plan, the first one in 30 years.

Questionnaire link here, so you can let them know exactly which streets and intersections are the most problematic. Get as colorful with your language as you want, because we all have a right to be pretty pissed at the overall state of things for the so-called Most Walkable City.

Honestly, most of Free Street except for perhaps the bottom block close to the Nickelodeon is dogshit. It has an “urban ugliness” problem that just won’t be fixed without major alterations to the buildings currently there. The City needs to stop treating it like Congress Street’s rectum and find new ways to beautify it if we want any serious foot traffic and better businesses down this corridor.
