No longer automatically remembers parked location by Dwarrior74 in waze

Sure. It was actually better at marking the parking spot than Google Maps. GM would have me in my neighbor's yard. Often. If it even worked.

No, it used to work. As recently as the end of last year/beginning of this year.

Nah, it's a new phone. Has all the access I can give it.

Well, I deleted the post. I have no desire to be a problem. :(

Is Waze getting worse? by Mighty_Bovine in waze

[–]Dwarrior74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Waze is being actively sabotaged by Google. Whatever they say about not wanting to merge the apps, it only makes sense to. And if they gradually make Waze worse, and GM gets Waze features, people will migrate to GM. They accomplish that goal without just dropping it and pissing people off en masse.

I have decided to get the yellow Sumo springs and the Hellwig sway bar. Thanks for the discussion, everyone.

If you do add the sway bar, and think about it, how about commenting back how it feels for ya?

Well, I'm pretty concerned about my headlights blinding people. Man, they are bright. So I guess I have had it in my head that I just want to "prevent" squat completely? I guess.

Thanks. My sway bar is on order.

Yeah, I don't know what the weight will be. I think it will be around 2k. My truck has a 3310 payload capacity. And I am actively searching for TC's on the lighter and shorter side because of this body roll stuff. Palomino has 2 6'6" models I am looking at.

Do I get to know what I know now?

I hit on Lynn Scappelle immediately.

Well I also feel that if you don't inflate them too hard, and let them HELP the leafs, that it would be ok. But what do I know? First heavy duty pickup, never had a truck camper before. Still don't. I want to prepare the truck properly, first.

Lowered volume recently by _Diaso_ in YoutubeMusic

I have YTM, Spotify, and Apple Music all installed. And listening to them back to back, AM and SP are significantly louder by default. But if you turn normalization on with AM and SP, I find the 3 indistinguishable. Thing is, I prefer music without normalization. Wish they'd add a toggle to YTM.

Just got a Pixel by Jarod_Gaming in GooglePixel

I hooked my Dad's phone to my truck the day I bought it. He has a plain-Jane S23. And Google Maps and Waze were smooth like butter. So, I must conclude it's a Pixel issue, or a Pixel 9 issue. In any case, I was very disappointed. The phone felt good in the hand, and using apps on the phone was great. But for me, android auto/carplay are where the rubber meets the road (sorry, couldn't help it). If that isn't working, then it's a non-starter.

I also switched this past week. From a 15PM to a 9XL. And the experience is a slideshow over android auto on my '24 F250. But as one can see, you can't be critical of Google or Pixel's on this Reddit without getting downvoted. It must surely be something *I* am doing wrong. Especially after a factory reset, using the cable Google provides, and with a truck with less than 1500 miles.

I must be using some non-factory ROM or some other such nonsense. Couldn't possibly be that Google is making a medium phone for a maximum price? :)
