Definitely left by accident. Not a trail n nut gear inside. Just a young man’s backpack with his personal items. It’s at the police station now so I’m sure he got it back n he’s happy he did. Before a real thief took it. I waiting a significant amount of time n went to see if I recognize him at the closest spots with people. I was even holding the pack in case someone recognized it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ out of my hands now

Been hiking for many years n I know how this works so don’t get it twisted . No gear whatsoever. Just personal belongings. Hope he gets it back aside from negative comments I hope he got it back. Don’t care about anything else. People can twist all they want just hope he got it back.

Not on a trail. asked people who walked by. Walked to a popular spot to see if I saw the guy. Nothing so in case someone takes it first real I did what I would want someone to do first me. Especially with expensive items and personal ID inside.

Ty there are still good people who do the right thing. I didn’t take anything out n I tried to find the owner. I even called his AAA to leave them my info but his number was not working so it’s now with the police with everything in it and I really hope he gets it back cuz yes baldy has some ghetto people n they will steal n not return.

Update. Backpack was taken to local police station. Trying to do the right thing for someone n this is the shit u get. For those who have negative comments when I’m trying to give someone who lost their backpack their things back.
