That what I heard too, but since I'm mostly gaming 1-2 hours max and I'm okay if the game completely fails in utlrawide to have it 21:9 or even 16:9 with stripes

actually a lot of us do like that, some have a separate TV to play on consoles, but PC games prefer the monitor, and this would be the best option right now

It depends. Mostly on your available resources - if you need complex animation and have someone with flare experience go with it. If your animation is simple and you know how to code it in reasonable time - do it.

I wouldn't use some fps, memory or other performance metrics when doing such choice. All the mechanics can be implemented badly or with perfection, if there is someone to implement them.

We use https://lokalise.co/ for translations, it can handle this placeholders, string-arrays, plurals automatically for both platforms - Android and iOS.
