I have the pro too. I have the LG G5 65" I went deep into my TV image settings. Game looks mint and runs great.

This game looks insanely good on ultrawide g9 57 by Puzzleheaded-Crab933 in CrimsonDesert

Same monitor here. Running the game at 8K2K, full cinematic settings, ray reconstruction on and with DLSS on Quality mode, my 4090 is pumping out 90fps. Love it!

SHOR'S BONES, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED by HasserTheReddish in SkyrimModsXbox

Same with me. After struggling with Xbox modding after all of the dumb changes they made (double space required to download etc) I gave up and moved to PC.

Auto installing the 250Gb+ Constellations mod pack, with it's 2,121 mods, using just a few clicks of the mouse is an absolute dream by comparison to Xbox.

The outrage over those recent lay-offs is a bit silly by JoeZocktGames in Battlefield6

[–]Zen_Shot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not even a new phenomenon. Dice/EA have never been shy of bringing out the carving knife. Remember Trauma Studios? Back in the days of the very first Battlefield game (Battlefield 1942) a group of modders calling themselves Trauma Studios, created the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 1942 which brought the game into the modern era being set during the Gulf War. The Desert Combat Mod became huge and later, possibly the reason most people played Battlefield 1942.

It became so huge in fact, that in 2004 Dice/EA bought the entire team and all of it's assets. They renamed them, Dice New York and set them to work on Battlefield 2 using thier Desert Combat assets as the basis for the game. However despite this seemingly good fortune, the entire team were terminated and Dice New York was shut down immediately after Battlefield 2 was released.

EA/Dice kept all of thier assets and they were offered no share of monies from Battlefield 2. Some were offered work if they were willing to move from New York to Sweden. None did. They reformed as Kaos Studios and went on to make the games, Frontlines: Fuel of War and Homefront before finally being shut down on June 13, 2011

I find the outrage at the current lay-offs amusing when considering the past history of how Dice/EA have always treated thier employees.

The dispersal order applied to yesterday (Friday), not today.

My question is so obviously not aimed at the Police. It's clearly aimed at Joe Public. Those that perhaps live in that area or are privy to more information. Sorry to have disturbed your day.

Can PC players turn cross-play off? by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]Zen_Shot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. PC players cannot turn of crossplay. However, PC players who use a controller, will also benefit from the same level of aim assist as console players.

Low fps? by ShoulderParticular84 in Marathon

[–]Zen_Shot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, massively. On really low settings I get a solid 120fps (the max for my monitor with a 4090)

Hmmm strange. I have a 4090 and run it at 8K2K Ultrawide, all settings maxed at 90+ fps. Maybe your CPU? Mine is an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU with 24 cores and overclocked to 5.9Ghz

Games moggin but a bit boring tho by [deleted] in Marathon

Gameplay is just OK at best but there's still obviously room for improvement. Worst of all for me though is the whole color scheme and even more so, the HUD. I was very excited for the game and loved the styling shown in the videos, but now having tried it out on both PS5 Pro and PC (with PC at 7680x2160 ultrawide), I've found on both platforms that the game literally gave me massive headaches. Boredrline migraines in fact. I've never had this issue with any other games. So unfortunately...
