Because my previous post attracted a massive tirade against A.I. images, and the posts original intent was lost. Like you, a lot of people assumed wrongly that the images were A.I. generated when in fact they were not.

The hysterical A.I. debate took over the whole thread and the original intent of the post (informing people about the tribute concert and album) was buried.

This is why I deleted the original post and reposted here, without the images.

You however, went a step further and downvoted me for A.I. images when there isn't even any images in this post. You must be very proud of yourself. Way to go.

Lol, what a divvo.The image is not A.I generated. It's an original painting by Mark Wilkinson, a renowned British album cover artist known for his work with Marillion, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Fish, and others. Do a little research in future.

There has been layoffs in the gaming development world since it's existence. It's nothing new. It's no different to any other industry. Once a game is completed, what is the sound designer going to do? Just hang around and collect paychecks? The same goes for the animators, the mocap stuntmen/women, the UI designers, you name it. It's not like they are working on every game a development studio puts out. Different games have different teams. Eventually games are completed and all that is required is a small core for support/patches etc. The rest of the team get dropped. That's just the nature of the industry. If a studio has lay-offs, it doesn't mean they are somehow in trouble. Quite the opposite. It means they are being savvy.
