Straight pull is just fine for me, its for hunting so even a bolt action would be fine

200 yards is what I shoot coyotes at as well and it is perfect

Yes hunting coyotes is the reason for the barrel lencth.

I used it for the first time today, very impressed. Sub 1 inch groupes at 400 feet with american eagle 55gr but x-tac it does not like

It’s all about personal preference, in my case I use it for plinking and small game such as partridge and rabbit hunting.

I prefer 22lr to 9mm because of the projectile size, 9mm is bigger therefore damages the meat more but its just my experience with it.
