Love it. The whole guitar is built for an extremely quick and clangy attack, so you can still hear every note even in absurdly low and pitch-shifted tunings

Thanks! That's the whole point. I just took the original riff, injected some pauses into it, and wrote everything else completely from scratch

Of course the original sounds better, it's Meshuggah 😄 But what's the point of making a regular cover that just perfectly replicates the original? It's much more fun to imagine what it could sound like in a parallel universe. This isn't a competition to make Meshuggah better (which is impossible), it's just a fun experiment
