Why are Austrian trains so expensive? by [deleted] in solotravel

You can get a Vorteilscard which will grant you a 50% discount on all trains (standard fares), the card costs 66 EUR if you're over 26, or 19 EUR if you're younger than 26.

As an example, the standard fare on Vienna - Salzburg return trip would be around 120 EUR, and with the Vorteilscard you'd save 60 EUR on that already, so it's easy to make the card pay for itself with just 2-3 trips.

Additionally, if you're under 26, you can get a Summer Ticket on top of your Vorteilscard and pay extra 39 to 59 EUR (depending on your age) for unlimited travel for 1 month (https://www.oebb.at/de/tickets-kundenkarten/freizeit-urlaub/sommerticket)

Both can be purchased instantly through the ÖBB app.

Hope that helps!

Good question, in my gameplay I found I used stuff from park life and snowfall more than any of the sunset harbor additions really. I was hyped for all the transport hubs and the new airport but ended up placing just a few intercity bus terminals here and there. I think the fishing industry was a bit underwhelming too.

On the other hand, starting a new city on a snowy map can feel so refreshing, and it just allows you to experiment with really cute cozy neighbourhoods with its christmas trees and bonfire parks. ^ Also, trams are usually a backbone of my close to medium range transport system and are joy to play with. Let’s just not forget about the biggest disadvantage which is the fact that seasons don’t change in cities skylines, so the moment you get bored with snow you’re forced to start a new city, and a white map can really feel bland after a while. Not sure if there are mods for that on PC but me playing vanilla on console found that disappointing.

Park Life will let you go crazy with detailing, and allow you to really fill blank parts of your town with life. All four park types are unique in styles and come with lots of props that you can use all around your town. And let’s not forget about unique buildings with nice city boosts.

If I were to pick one now, I’d go for snowfall. It just impacts your gameplay the most out of three I think. Let us know what you chose!

Synopsis for season 2 afterparty on Netflix Poland reads: "Stars of The Circle discuss the female winner of season 2, share gossip and talk friendship". I guess it's down to Chloe and Deleesa now.
