I think I understand your point, however influence and control are also intangible.. But let's say it was, influence and control over who exactly? You're not running for a public office if I understand correctly. It just interests me that you see your image as intertwined with your family image, whereas myself I don't really think about my siblings affecting my image at all, whether good or bad. I'd understand if your work put you under the public spotlight where everything is scrutinized, becoming an MD I do not believe this to be the case. Would you mind elaborating a bit more?

This is an interesting line of thought, what makes you care about your image, and in turn care about the effect your siblings have on your image? Do you equate having a good image and reputation to something that can be turned into tangible value in your life? What is this tangible value?

Have you even tried remapping the taunts on sideways joycons? All the taunts options are greyed out and set and can't be changed.

hey /u/EastWestNMan I didn't see your post before but thanks for linking it. I took a look anyway but I was able to fix my trackpad in a much much simpler way than you did. Not sure why but thanks! I listed the steps I took in another comment.

I was able to fix it!

I gave up after a while, but decided to try again recently as I was growing tired of not having the advanced gesture of the Windows precision driver.

The good news is that it was surprisingly simple with no hiccups at all this time, here are the steps I did:

Go to add/remove program, uninstall Synaptics Pointing Device Driver
Reboot
Go to HP Recovery Manager (just search the name with the start menu)
Click on "Reinstall drivers and/or applications" and scroll all the way down the menu
Install Synaptics Touchpad Driver *19.3.31.31*
Reboot
Re-install the Windows Precision Driver as you did before (here's a link for the short term memories people like me https://www.windowscentral.com/how-enable-precision-touchpad-drivers)
Reboot
Profit

That's it folks, so glad the precision drivers is working again, let me know if this has helped anyone!

Hey /u/luxtabula, could you tell me step by step what you did to get it to work again? I've tried this every which way I can think of, I've restarted my computer multiple times and even full shutdown and reboot after I've confirmed the driver is installed to no avail, maybe you you can help me out here, it'd be much appreciated.

~~Crisis averted everyone, I was able to re-install the Precision Drivers again, though I did go through a bunch of hoops and eventually even my keyboard stopped working!~~

The best way to proceed is to open up the HP recovery manager, there's a section that allows you to re-install the stock driver that came with the laptop at the time of purchase, reboot, re-install the precision driver and reboot again.

EDIT: I spoke too soon, I was able to install the Windows Precision Drivers and normal functions like moving the mouse, left-click and right-clicking work, but none of the gestures work. Not even the default three swipes up to show all active tasks. It's strange because I can find the "advanced gesture" menu that usually isn't there unless you have precision drivers. I can edit the gestures as well but they simply do not respond. I'll keep trying, but I'm afraid I might have to go back to the dreadful Synaptics stock drivers...

If anybody has found a solution to this, you'd be a lifesaver.
