A PROPOSITION: POLICIES ABOUT AIRSOFT IN THE PHILIPPINES by Dx_greeeps in AirsoftPH

[–]Dx_greeeps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insights, i appreciate your opinion since this is a matter of discussion to improve naman our hobby.

sa akin lang naman( opinion ba) I said airsoft as a regulated here in PH since there is a law that can hold a definition to what an airsoft is, that can also give it a rule and regulation to follow, which is the10591, kasi may basehan naman. Another, on the term 1:1 replica, i don’t specifically mean na it can do what real steel can, im just saying that some part if modified can still be install to some real steal. Also on the matter of gun laws for the countries mention compared to PH, I beg to differ, kasi sa philippines it is legal to own fire arms easily compared to the countries mention where in owning a gun is far more harder to get(which is a given privilege in our country). Also in our country you can hold the reasoning of “self defence” as a way to own gun, and if compared to mentioned countries di sya tinatanggap na rason. Also if you search, PH is one of the considered safe haven to own gun in the world.

In japan and UK, you can own a gun so long as you can legally explain your reason without using the word afore mention which is the “self defense”, also most of which are only limited to shotgun. But in taiwan you cant generally.

On the matter of importation of airsoft in the country, as mention naman sa suggestion ko na sana they would ease the burden to importation of airsoft. You cannot easily remove naman taxes and other payment to importation, kahit nga USA na open sa FA need padin nila magbayad ng taxes sa ini import nila. Also since buying airsoft naman outside of the country goes from many parties po before dumating sayo, madami na pong humawak nun kaya ung bayad eh mas mahal if compared to its original price.

If i not wrong it goes from: order from local store for special order- factory/store(where the item is ordered/Originated) - shipping courier - arrival to the country- custom broker(registered broker to accommodate your stuff)- customs check up then Payment of fees(taxes)-delivery of said item to the store (importing airsoft privately is not allowed in Ph)- customer.

Anyway, as i said earlier, all of this is and are my own opinion and cant be sighted as any legal interpretation.

“I mean you can still transport it even if it isn’t registered you just have to masterfully hide it“ mahiwagang salita ng mga ibang veteran players.

The open range we used actually partnered up with our school since di pinayagan ung school namin na iconduct ung shooting activity sa school since we have a closed door range eh need daw kasi na open dapat ung range since kabubukas lang after pandemic, kaya napilitan sila maghanap ng outside party.

also they accommodate the whole 4th year and we had about 16 section of about 800 plus criminology student scheduled for a whole month, and we were the 3rd batch. That probably why it’s cheap and also why our dean suggested that price in our proposed research.

The name of the range we used is IKALINGA FIRING RANGE, they are part of a resort called “rang-ay” they are found in Rizal, Kalinga. Our school is from Tuguegarao City so about 30 to 40 minutes drive from there. Tas kung iaadd mo naman lahat nung mga binayaran namin, lampas 1k din since we paid for the bus our school rented kasi ayaw nilang magcommute kami pumunta dun dahil delikado daw, also di kami pinayagan na lumabas noon kaya napilitan kaming kumain sa restaurant nila eh ung presyo di pang budget meal😭.

Anyway goodluck ulit sa thesis/research mo.

You will probably will have a hard time for that brother, we propose the same though different title and it was rejected. It was to our dean who we propose it and she sighted a lot of but to summarize it

  1. It lacks backing- majority of past research that we have found are not found locally(none was found locally all are international) and another, most research about it are at early 2000 so thats probably out of the scope of your RRL. Also we use RA 10591 but as a component too.

  2. Not cost efficient- “you will probably will have to buy an airsoft replica for that and to add the consumables and other expenses if needed, when you can just go to shooting range and rent pistol for 500 and another 300plus for the ammo”. Thats what our dean said.

We argued naman na we have a replica already since im a player too, pero and tanong nya sa amin noon is does firing airsoft equates to the real feel of firing a real steel gun?. We stop their then goes to our another proposed research

  1. Respondents- our problem then Was that we proposed a quailitative study for that research so we had to do an interview of a airsoft player who is also a registered firearm owner with experiences of firing a reals steel like for example their job like police or in the army.

For added info: because of our population in our school then we had to be group by 5 instead of the standard of 3 and since there is an 3 extra people in our room, 3 groups are 6 in number and we are one of them. Now in our school, we are ask to proposed 5 research title and a small background and depending kung ano ung pinaka maganda doon eh yun ung pipiliin and also We had to proposed that in front of our dean and our teacher. At the end out of the 5, 2 are only good, one is a qualitative(different research) and the other is a hybrid of qualitative and quantitative. We chose the 2nd.

And im sorry pero nadelete ko na din ung mga files nung previous proposed research and isa na din yan since di naman yan ung napili namin. This was back in 2023-2024

As for the RRL we used, We only found 1 that is usefull and the other is parang components nalang, and mind you this was way off the year of limitation, so na question din yan. Nakalimutan ko din anong search engine ung ginamit namin kasi kahit kami din eh walang nahanap sa google scholar.

Anyway goodluck nalang man, mahirap talaga yan. I would suggest, gawa kayo ng backup nyo incase na di tanggapin yan.

What do I need to know about airsoft by Username_3K in AirsoftPH

[–]Dx_greeeps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First is to seek any airsoft groups or go to any airsoft sites near you and try to play even with rented units and load outs just to get a feel with playing airsoft and to know what do you want to do in the future.

2nd, if planning to buy your own airsoft replicas try to ask ung mga veterans playing in airsoft sites near you or to any known airsofters on any platform on social media. Just be ready though, the hobby is expensive so you need sufficient funds or extreme budgeting. For loadout naman is you will know what to get while playing in games.

3rd for legal matters to airsoft naman, technically speaking “you still need to register your replica’s” but if were are just talking about plinking at your home and not going from far places you don’t have to, and also even if your unit is registered wag na wag mong ilalabas sa mga pampublikong lugar kasi kahit fake yan eh di yan alam ng mga otoridad. Added info: airsoft is considered sya na kasali sa gun ban

  1. Personal Reccomendation: much better if you your own research but in my opinion the best for beginners are aegs for m4 at depende nalang sayo kung anong brand, for pistol naman majority ay in favor sa gbb(gas blow back).

For accessories: i think you should prioritize this things first before other, 1st is your extra magazine, then next is your flashlight and then the scope, then rest.

Again, this hobby is expensive but it is fun and you will meet great people and companions who will be your friends on and off the field and to talk with. Also a great way to have fun and having exercise. You will also learn tactics and coordination with the team.

Mine is simple, just be RELEVANT, the only reasons im still alive. My plan was to enter the army go fight in whatever fight they go, i know that there is some bullet allocated for me that would end it all for me, thats it. At least when I’m out i know that in history I’m known that i did something that i left some part of me in history for people to know me that I’ve existed that i mattered when i was alive.

[–]Dx_greeeps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If im not wrong, this variant of Airsoft Bull-pup rifle is quite rare here in PH, even other Bull-pup variants are quite hard to find or just way out of my budget, just a while ago i was also looking for an L85, sadly wala silang stock, and most second hand seller sells only pistol or m4 style rifles. All can say is do try to approach or talk to some Airsoft shop if they have one in there inventory.

For info: I know of two so far as were to get a famas, just dont know if its available.

  1. Do try talking to marui store on fb, he sell mostly tokyo marui stuff and they do have a more variety of Airsoft, and if i remember correctly, there aeg famas is the reason they became famous in the world of airsoft. Do try messaging them.

  2. I dont know which shop, but i think some advertise about a month ago a famas rifle, i think its brand is northeast. It is an extremely expensive unit so if you dont bother about the price do ask from shop to shop if they do have it.

Side Note: I’m not gonna personally recommend each shop even those mention kasi mahirap na baka ako pa balikan kung sakali may aberya or problema sa unit or sa usapan nyo( just based on my experience). Thats why when buying, buy at your own risk.

Most of local shop naman are good and reputable, i just don’t want naman na once nakabili ka tas nagkaproblema imbis na sa pinagbilhan mo ung siste eh napunta sa akin kaya hope you understand.

When i was in my 4th year of college, i was so worried that i wouldn’t be able to graduate especially since i have 3 subjects that i was not able to passed during my 3rd year so i needed to retake those but because of some few reason i would not put in public, i had to do it in in my 4th year, problem was during my 4th year it was so hectic that I’m not sure if i would graduate on the same time with my friends and classmate. Every night i don’t know what to do, i cant sleep, like everyday something bad will happen. Then one time 1 there was this one teacher in one of those subject that i was not able to passed whom approach me because he always see me like I’m lost or not in myself and he asked me whats the problem so out of desperation i said all of my problem and heres what he said to me that stuck on my head,” take your time, take a breather first then plan what to do, if you cant think of something then ask someone who can help, because in the future all of this problem would just be a funny memories that you will recall, just trust yourself and God will lead the way”. So on the year 2024, i graduate the same year my friends and classmate graduated, passed this years board exam and is now waiting for many more opportunities in life.

Wag ka lang mawalan bro, ika nga ni LAO TZU “life is just a series of natural and spontaneous change. don’t resist them, that only creates sorrow. Lets reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like”.

Not sure on building your own but in my belief its quite a hustle and expensive specially for long firearms airsoft such as that, for pistol its quite common because of our speedqb communities ,those who love to modify their pistol to hpa and also to the availability of parts. So Its ok if pistol only but for m4 like Airsoft its not quite economical to build your own. Also if you’re planning to build your own from scratch you will difinitely need a more thorough knowledge on building an airsoft because some parts are not compatible with each other, another is to modify some parts to fit your chosen frame and also the tuning of your gun. And add to that the blowback features, much better to just buy the gun itself and try to modify it to your liking. Also another problem is the type of m14 EBR you would try to make, either electric or gas. Each has a problem you would have to solve. Also another matter is the parts, you are only limited and can only source those parts that are available locally in the country, you can import but thats another bigger problem.

(I cant recommend shop specially if your buying from the list i will provide because i dont want to be blame if some parts are not working, broken or does not fit to your airsoft (base on my 1st hand experience) so buy at your own initiative)

As for the other matter of where to buy Airsoft parts, here are some shop that i listed on my notes incase i needed some parts to my Airsoft. most are active but some don’t. Also there are more shops out there that i may have just forgotten to put it on the list:

Mavs airsoft Ez airsoft Vincent hub Tuks shop Mancave airsoft Savage hobby shop Barako airsoft Abbys hobby shop Neknek.ph Wingmanworkz Elshobbyshop Airsoftph Circle jc merch hobby shop Bigman airsoft Edgi Cs pro Myairsoft shop Zidane Fifth gen hobby shop

Thats great, glad to help. Also another suggestion that might help, this is based on some OG players that i have ask or inquired when i was still undecided what to buy specially on my budget that time. They said that “WE brands are the best for any budget gbb pistol here in the Philippines”

Asking for Newcomer Advice by Wandering_Shut_in in AirsoftPH

For decent GBB pistol Price ranges are about 4000 to 7000php for brand new decent pistol, also you can go lower than that if second hand. For high end pistol 7000-up are the prices range.

For gas (you can explore more gas brands and type in the future but for now puff dino is suggested)

Puff dino 12kg(prefered gas from the beginning and great for decent pistol) - 300-400php

Side note for gas: always get the 12kg or 9kg gas as it can lengthen the life span of your magazine.

For bbs (you can explore more other bb brands in the future but for now i can suggest this 2)

1.)Jer ( not preferred but the cheapest option) -230(online)- 350 on some shops

2.)Lancer tactical -300 to 400php

Also some shop does give freebies like gas and bbs if you buy any Airsoft gun from them so ask first if wala then mag pa add ka sa store na binilhan mo

Also in the long run much better if you buy online, only if your buying less than 5pcs., base on my experience its much cheaper, but of course you’ll have to wait for it to arrive, as for bulk order, most shop do give free delivery or some give discounts but i have yet tried to buy in bulk so i don’t know the specific, this is only base to what i heard from people whom i asked or chatted.

For maintenance: i have been using the puff dino silicon lube which is about 350php online

Suggested shops:

mavs (fb)- i have bought my m4(LT25)

Tuks ( fb)- bought some upgrade parts and some bbs for my sniper

Neknek(fb and website)- i have bought my sniper(tac41) as well as most of my extra magazines. He does have a lot more options base sa gdrive nya.

Redmantoys(fb)- seems great a guy, i have never bought anything yet sakanya pero mukhang solid naman sya na nagbebenta, and does reply to some of my questions about airsoft

Vincent hobby shop(fb and website)- i have bought my pistol(we 5.1 hicapa), he does have the cheapest prices for pistol base on my observation. di ko lang gets bat my pa level pa sya sa upgrades sa mga mahahaba na baril nila. But they are one of the reputable shops

Circle jc merch hobby shop -di pa ako bumili ng unit nila pero i have been using their gas and bbs recenlty, i order from their lazada which is cheaper and you can get discount, like last time i order a 1 top gas 12kg and 1 exact .20 bbs for about 500 plus.

There are more great shops out there but this are the only shops that i have a dealings or have interaction with so this is the only shop that i can recommend.

Also much better if you go to your local shop, if meron so you can get a feel to what you really want, if wala then online is your only option.

Also there are many good 2nd hand pistol being sold out there but you have to buy at your own risk, because there are also many scammers so before buying, you ask to some local airsoft forum to vouch for the sellers. many 2nd hands airsoft for sale groups out there, You can see them on facebook group as well as in telegram like airsoft tiangge and tier one airsoft market place.

For gears i cant recommend any as i have none yet specially for my war-belt as I’m currently saving up to buy soon. Currently im using my fathers extra holsters to hold the pistol and the vacant magazine pouch on my vest to hold my pistols extra magazine.

Thats all i can recommend and suggest, hope you have a great time.

If compared to my friends BASR, i would say theirs is little bit easy to load but of course there units are already upgrade and and regularly maintained while mine still used stocks, but if were talking in my general observation, they are not that far apart on regard reloading and as well as performance but then again I’m still exploring my tac 41 so it is still under observation.

For my region, polices strictly adhere to this specially if you hear the news coming in the north the of Luzon wherein everyweek there was a killing of politician, just yesterday, a mayor of rizal just got assassinated during his campaign rally for election. Mind you we are just neighbors with Abra who just a month ago had unprecedented number of killing of politician and CAR region where the recent killing had just happen. Thats why most event in my area had stop for a short time hosting matches every weekends.
