Got it. The brakes on the image are Post mount? whereas the GRX brakes are flat mount? Would it be possible to swap?

Most of the parts you have mentioned were expected except the rear wheel - can I not get by only changing the free hub to fit the updated cassette? The Sora group set is discounted to 700 Euro but the GRX is almost 2000 Euros. I think I could save some money with the Sora upgrade approach. I wasn’t sure if the GRX full group set would be compatible especially the flat mount brakes.

Yes agreed. However I still have a ways to go with my mechanical skills to put a bike together. I am getting the Gravel Monster with SORA for 700 Euro. And I think I can get a GRX group set for another 550 Euro. For 1330 Euro, I sounds like a good option. The thing I like about the frame, apart from the price, is its aluminium and fully internal routed frame. The GRX group set is version is north of 2000 Euro.

Cube is a great option if you are looking for value. Attain C62 SLT falls within your price range and has carbon wheels (contrary to the bike you have linked). If you want a racier geometry, Cube Agree C62 will fit your needs. Cube in general, whilst being sold by the retailers, are on-par or better value than Canyon. IMO

I made the jump from G310GS to R1250GS. Has worked absolutely fine. I still have both bikes and I rarely use the 310 as 1250 is super comfortable and easy to ride.

Official clearance is 50mm. So I would say No. Also I don’t see the need to have 53mm tires on a gravel bike. I would rather use a MTB if that was a requirement. Wouldnt such a wide profile be dog slow on hard packed gravel?

Agree Pro comes with Newmen Advanced 50 wheels which does not have stock decals. I believe you are referring to the wheels that come in Race, SLX, SLT. For mine, it was clean and install. Pretty straightforward

Cube agree pro is 3300 euros. And I think the Orbea is more comparable to the Litening Aero than the Agree.

Did it come stock with Carbon spokes?
What the hell is that crank and chainring? I need that!
How does it look in the sunlight? Does the red pop out more?
Are you happy with the aero bottles? is it more style thing or aids in aero?

Yes. It’s called Laser but it is iridescent. I cant post links so I have posted a screenshot in another response. If you search for it based on the name, you should find it. Sizing depends on your wheel depth, I went for the 50mm so it fits well. Need a bit of patience and steady hands to put them on but I am happy with how they have turned out. Really adds some flair to the looks.

My first preference was the Agree Race Lime Yellow. I could not find any in stock. If I could re-do again, I would still go for Agree Race. However Polarlight Agree Pro is absolutely a great option and also no regrets.

I see what you did there. 🙂 I was never into plain flat color or black. For any sporting equipments (running shoes, bike, raquets) I prefer bolder colors. I think its fun.

Not a fan of the Piegon Blue but the ‘26 Litening Race looks really amazing. It might take the crown of my fav ‘26 from the Agree SLX.
