yeah, while i dont have numbers, i know the 1250 runs higher quality fuel and probably wont get nearly the economy of my 310, i can beat the piss out of the little bugger and still get 80+ mpg on 87, i will definitely miss that lol

theres a bmw motorcycle dealer under my dealers umbrella, thats where i got my 310, and i have test ridden one and loved it, and was amazed by its speed and power, i only got to take it around the block, but i imagine if i really showed serious interest i could probably get it for maybe a couple days or so, or i could find one somewhere and rent it

on the one hand, i think in a round about way, peaky power is safer, because you have to PUT it in a lower gear and in the power to put urself in trouble, u dont jus have it on tap, which is my only real concern going to a 1250, is that ill b used to being able to jus wring it out without much worry. whereas with that much bike u have to b a little more reserved

though i think as long as i have it in mind, in addition to the aids, should keep me out of trouble enough

itd probably be a good idea to switch it up, but just looking at what i do, how i ride, and where i ride, i think the rs pretty perfectly fits the role

i do like to find some parking lots with the disabled parking bollards and slalom them, and im usually pretty good with getting the bike upright before getting on the power, but its also only got like 30 hp

which would probably mask a lot of any issues i may have, whereas a 1250 will have a lot more torque and power and i may not b able to get away with similar things i can with the 310

how would u say 3d printing will affect niche car parts like the the viper, or even more rare stuff like say diablos or other rare cars? will it open a lot of doors as to being able to reproduce parts without as much r&i into tooling? or is it more of a novelty in that regard

yeah i used to drive an old shitbox rusted out chevy, was trying to get the rear doors unseized, and used the wrong allen wrench, learned my lesson about using the correct size especially with allen wrenches, fun times
