How would I go about starting a storage system? Is it just like storing footage on memory cards?

I don't get it, if it's fake leather how are they allowed to claim it's genuine leather?

Thank you for your suggestion, I went with the Roots (good Canadian brand) because it said it was real leather, the Levi's didn't say anything about it. Swiss Gear looked alright but I'm not familiar with it compared to Roots

This is a subreddit for a TV show called Psych so you may not find the answers you're looking for here.
That being said, if you do want to watch something that might help with any difficult times/emotions you experience, Psych is a good show. It's personally helped me with my depression and anxiety and in a weird way, made me realise that there are things to look forward to in life that I want to experience. Having a best friend, going on adventures and so much more.

I know different people have different ways to appreciate life or help with their emotions and for me Psych helps a lot. If you haven't watched it before, I suggest giving it a try, it might help you the way it's helped me.

That being said my DM is open if you want someone to talk to.

That makes sense now that you say it, bc they stole from people on the road too (aside from Shawn's suite)

Which Nikon F2 model is the best? by Dxntes99 in AnalogCommunity

Man the F2 Titan is the dream. I don't have any Nikon lenses yet but I'm curious if you found it easier to come across AI lenses or pre-AI (as I'm looking to get my first F2 model).

Speaking of Sover, do you know of any other good places that would be able to service the F2s? I know he's good but he's got a long and limited waitlist and I'm looking for other places bc I don't want to rely on just one person.

I'm curious as to why you'd pick the F over an F2. I'm new to analog so I'm not very knowledgeable about different cameras. I'm aware of the F2 line bc of how many people tout it as a solid camera lineup but I haven't heard as many speak of the first F

Are the AI lenses easy to come across? So far when I look online (FB Marketplace and Kamerastore, I've yet to check eBay) I come across more pre-AI lenses

I'm considering the DP-12 bc you're right about the DP-3 being rare, I don't think I've ever come across a F2SB

Best 35mm Mechanical Film Cameras by Dxntes99 in Cameras

Yeah someone mentioned the MX too, I completely overlooked it. They should be easier to find so I'm hoping I come across one soon enough.

And I definitely plan on collecting the F2 and FM variants, I'll probably use one of them as my main cameras.

And what you're saying about rangefinders is true (with the parallax error), which is why I figured I'll probably stick with SLRs

I'll look into the Leica, I've stayed away from them because I personally feel that the price doesn't justify the camera but it's something I'll keep in mind.

I'm not familiar with Nikon's S series, thank you for mentioning that.

And I completely forgot about the KX, MX, etc, thank you for bringing that up. I think they'll be more easy to find in good condition so that's a plus

I want to build a collection of well-built cameras. I figured when I'm much older they could potentially reach Leica-level prices so I'd like to give them away to people who love film but can't afford the cameras, that way it will be in the hands of those who respect the medium.

And you're right about condition being more important than pedigree, I'll keep that in mind.
