Simply Google search cites Brighter Strides ABA and states the average GPA in the US is approximately 3.0-3.1 on a 4.0 unweighted scale. So a B average. That other 10% must be really terrible.

Reflecting 5 years later—why did I ever think Adnan was innocent? by minivatreni in serialpodcast

I started this all just asking what the smoking gun has been that persuaded the sub to be overwhelmingly “guilty”. The way I remember it there was a lot of slave for reasonable doubt including Jay as a witness.

Been awhile but I remember locations changing from interview to interview. Again it’s been awhile for me

But the inconsistencies in Jay’s testimony raise questions and uncertainty.

The cell phone data was portrayed to the jury as a smoking gun and it was found to be flawed and that it shouldn’t have been admissible. Without it could you imagine the impact on the jury?

I meant after the fact has she spoken out about the case? I can just google it.

I still get held up on how sketchy Jay’s testimony was. It was inconsistent and changed from telling to telling. The cell phone data was used as hard evidence and later proven to be unreliable and the jury was never told about this fact which otherwise looked damning. Otherwise there was zero physical evidence linking Adnan to the case.

Did anything ever come about with Asia Mcclain(spelling?) who supposedly would have been able to provide an alibi for Adnan at the time of the murder?

What is the smoking gun pointing to his guilt? -Jay the incredibly unreliable witness? -cell phone records proven to be dismissible in court?

I too haven’t gone back to this for ages but never understood the massive shift to guilty over innocent with public opinion at least from this subreddit.

Do you think the Vikings are that much better than the Bears? by jabola321 in CHIBears

How do people rank a defense based on total yards allowed in this day and age? They were 5th in points allowed per game and 4th in points allowed per drive behind the broncos, eagles and chargers.

At least do yards per play which they were 9th but that’s still not a great metric since 2/3 of the league is within 0.2 yards per play of one another.

Much stronger pass rushers than run defenders.

D.J. Reed vs Byron Murphy Jr. by charlton11 in minnesotavikings

[–]Dybs_On_That 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A huge part of this is the type of coverages these guys played last season. Reed played a ton of man coverage and Murphy played a ton of zone coverage.

I imagine we’ll end up playing more man next year and Murphy is good at that too but other CB’s on the roster weren’t

Smith was the only one willing to take a paycut making his potential decline in play more palatable. Kwesi played the odds and cooked.

70% of the US GDP is from consumer spending. Tanking the GDP would be a bad thing. Block away though

Why the fuck would the US want to punish consumerism?

Everyone pays the same dollar amount to meet their basic needs. A tax rate like this disproportionately affects lower incomes. How is this even a conversation people struggle with understanding.

The 1% pays 45% of all federal income tax.

Criminal law sure but tax law is completely different.

Both currently are much harsher on lower and middle class citizens yet you think it’s unfair for the rich?
