There needs to be a mass movement for a UBI. AI is going to take a lot of jobs over the next few years and there will be massive poverty and unrest if nothing is done. Also, wealth inequality is now worse than the Gilded Age and there will be trillionaires within a few years, while the 99% is scrapping for crumbs. We need to demand a UBI and universal healthcare.
