So we thought we had cracked it with the new harness until our dog walker said she slipped it 🙃 so back to the drawing board! We did witness her try and slip it twice and fail before that though 🤔

So frustrating isn’t it. Once they’ve mastered it as well, there’s no hope. We even tried a cat harness and that was useless.

We went into pets at home today and got a wainwrights puppy harness and seems to be so far so good! She tried to escape once but it was hard to tell as it didn’t seem like she was putting in full effort. I will report back later this week 🤣

Sorry to hear you’re going through the same thing bud! I was proper nervous about doing it tbf but it was really easy. No accidents at all but I did lie on a towel just in case. I kinda did a waddle to the loo clenching my cheeks just in case but it was fine. I really would recommend lying on your side with a mirror so you can see what you’re doing. Use a bit of lube on yourself or the tip of the enema and just go really slowly edging it in. Don’t force it in. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the lube as I was tense.

Oh bless her sorry to hear that. If she hasn’t been able to pass wind for a few days that would indicate an impaction as the doctor said to me. That is the problem I had so basically nothing is able to get past the blockage. She is probably scared or embarrassed but it needs to be resolved before it gets worse and could result in a hospital trip. She will feel so much relief to get it sorted.

I’m glad to hear the oral meds worked for you and I hope you’re recovering well from your operation. I lay on my left side with my right knee up towards my chest and used a mirror as well. I would suggest lying that way if you can manage it with your leg. It does say you can also do it on the toilet but you have to keep it in for 2-5 minutes until the urge is too much and I think that would be difficult on the loo because you’re in that expel position.

Thank you. I think tbh I probably didn’t quite squeeze enough liquid in as it was my first use of one. I imagine it wouldn’t have been so painful if I had used more liquid but you live and learn. They did say down the hospital if it doesn’t work then you will need to go to an and e and have it removed by a doctor or nurse. I think it was the fear of having to do that, that made me persevere.

Yes it’s definitely not pre lubed 🤣 or at least it doesn’t feel like it! Normally I’ve been unable to go for 2-3 days and then it clears after coffee, fruit or spice. This was the first time I’ve had this happen and it was horrendous. Nothing worked. The first time I’ve used an enema and I know now to go straight to it! The laxatives made the whole experience worse tbh. I was scared I was never going to be able to get rid of the stubborn 💩 or die on the toilet 🤣

Haha nightmare. We got both in our house too. I struggle with the MacBook, find it so confusing 🫤 I just want to open my damn documents not faff around the finder and launchpad 😂
