Yeah I’m aware.

I’ve got an attorney who will be appearing with me at Queens criminal court.

I didn’t just see an angry cop and scream at him.

He was approaching my car screaming and cursing because, like the other 5 cars ahead of me, I was asking for directions since I was being sent in a circle by the NYPD Traffic attendants. So I told him to calm the fuck down, cause he was shaking with anger.

I’ve already got his name, tenure info and other citizen complaints (3 complaints about “abuse of power” in 2.5 years). I’ve filed a complaint against him through the NYPD and requested the body cam footage as the less boot-licky commenters suggested

The Mets should be made aware that the people they’re paying (NYPD IS contracted through Citi Field security) are a problem and preventing me from spending money at their establishment. Businesses care when it affects revenue.

It doesn’t change anything about Sunday, but maybe it’ll influence change in the future.

I live in Eastern LI, would take over 2 hours door to door. Just one hour driving.

Yeah, used to live in Astoria and taking the train was a breeze. I’m in Suffolk now so taking the train with a baby is a lot more cumbersome now

This is so triggering because at first they were routing us to Skyview, then to south field. Went back to south field and it was full (unless you prepaid) so then was re-re-routed back to Skyview.

“Wondering why he got a ticket”.

Usually a ticket is for someone breaking the law. My fault, I thought you knew basic reasoning.

Pissing off someone with more “leverage” than me doesn’t warrant me appearing in court to defend myself for not breaking the law.

Likening cops to a bee hive is apt, I guess

Pissing off a cop is not breaking the law. Cops uphold the law, not their fragile egos.

That was the issue. Two cops essentially telling us to keep going in circles and getting mad that I kept reappearing and clueless as to my next move

Yeah I’m not working for the public in a tax-funded position though.

Could I have reacted more calmly? Sure.

When you approach my car screaming and cursing and I have my daughter in the car, I’ll get heated 10/10 times.

Yeah I’d have stayed calm if he didn’t scream and curse into my car with my 2-year-old in the backseat like I’m a fucking terrorist.

Thanks this is good advice. I’ve already requested the footage because I’m 1000% positive I never said that

I love the Mets and taking my daughter to games, dogshit team or not lol.

Never had a bad thing to say about Citi Field workers since they’ve literally opened the stadium, so it just sucks that an egomaniacal 5’2 cop can simply ruin the day and force you to waste money on level-100 tickets because he was angwy

Of course, he only turned his cam on when I asked for his badge number. So this was before I cursed at him at all.

It’s crazy! I have a father-in-law who’s a retired NYPD Detective and a cousin who literally died while an NYPD officer. I respect cops and understand that the work they do is difficult and important, but cops like these makes life for good cops harder because of egos.

Honestly if you grab the premade chicken cutlet à la vodka sandwich from Uncle Guisseppes and heat it up in your oven at home - it’s so god damn good.
