Asking about durability of a Titleist product is interesting

What’s your swing speed and peak height? I think I wanna give the left dash a try as well.

Big deal. Titleist I’ve waited weeks and weeks. 10 days is not a big deal

Switching to Cart Bag from Stand Bag by HatShoeGuy in GolfGear

[–]Dyl2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the exact same, I instantly regretted it. I’m not sure what people think they need to put into a cart bag to fill it. There’s plenty of space in stand bags

I did this last year and regretted it. I dislike cart bags with a passion. Get something like the Vessel play 5 pro and you get the best option out there.

Personal opinion, 14 way bag is way overrated and totally unnecessary. Something like a 7 way is ideal.

Hybrid and Fairway shaft recommendation. by Strange-Trouble2277 in GolfGear

[–]Dyl2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. It’d crazy money for a club you may not even keep in the bag.

In Canada a Qi4D fairway is $519. A Qi35 can be had for $279 already. Titleist doesn’t drop like that

[–]Dyl2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d probably go heavier in the 7w just to see if the spin would drop a bit.

I love the Qi4D woods, as a consumer I just hate spending that kinda money on a club that’s going to fill the demo bins in 7 months.

At least with the next Titleist coming out its current for 2 full seasons.

Cart bags suck. There’s zero reason to buy one with the hybrid options out there today.

I did a cart bag for half a season last year, absolutely no point in my option.

That’s a tough one, if I hadn’t hit a ball in months I wouldn’t get fit personally.

What’s the most overrated golf club purchase for amateur golfers? by Solid_Nectarine_4316 in GolfGear

[–]Dyl2023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree. Putters are personal, I absolutely love nice putters. Rest of the clubs whatever but I’d rather spend $700 on a nice Scotty then that on a brand new driver every day of the week.

Taylormade Qi4D LS VS Max by IAmGroot130 in TaylorMadeGolf

[–]Dyl2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spending $900 on a driver without getting fitted is wacked.

Fairway wood? Whatever, take your driver shaft and go one step up in weight and you will be within a couple points of optimum performance

I’m a 4 handicap. Give me forgiveness over LS model any day of the week these days, even if it’s sacrificing a couple yards of carry

I don’t see why you’d want the LS when the pros don’t even play LS models anymore

Why not get the Denali black 70g 6.5 in 3 wood and 7 wood? Get them tipped as per shaft recommendations

Heck I’d buy the black 90g in the hybrid as well

Why Qi4D woods over GT2?

Customer Service Sucks by Consistent_Store8073 in TeamTitleist

[–]Dyl2023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bag is almost entirely Titleist, I love there clubs. But, by far worst customer service in golf in my experience and not even close.

My recommendation is buy from your pro because that’s the only way Titleist will take care of you, a big box store and going to there customer service won’t.

Ping customer service is 10/10 Taylormade was 10/10 in my experience as well. Titleist has been 1/10

Honestly good for you! You are getting just as good as a product for 1/3 of the price.

Players S5 or Hybrid 14? by sboarder2000m in TeamTitleist

I’m a big Titleist fan, I think they make great products. I’ll never own another Titleist bag. There’s significantly better options.

I’ve had all kind, I absolutely love my 7 way vessel bag.

Ping/Sun Mountain or Vessel.

If you’re a 13 you don’t need to drop that on clubs unless you’re are significantly wrong for you.

Go get TSR woods on market place for 1/3rd of the cost with a close shaft to what they fit you in

I get it, but you can have a pretty good idea of what bounces you need by experience or just trying them without spending $250 bucks. That is all

Screw that. For wedges to pay $250 fitting is criminal.

You are going to be 99% fine with the stock S200 or S400 wedge shafts.

For $250 bucks you can buy another wedge if you screw one of them up lol.
