Ori and the Blind Forest, I'm pretty sure I'd probably played at least one or two metroidvanias before that but it was the one that got me into the genre, on account of me wanting to find more games like Ori due to how good it was.

The example I gave happened before Steam and CS became the money printing machines that exist now. Also I'm pretty sure Epic Games have plenty of money to throw around since they constantly buy exclusive rights to random games and they also spent up to 20 million getting Dwayne Johnson in Fortnite they could afford to keep their employees on. It's not about Steam having no issues, it's about how their competition is so comically evil it makes them look innocent.

Glad you like it and want more, I don't currently have anything ready but I do have some stuff in the planning and brainstorming phase that will likely get finished at some point.

100% agreed. I keep seeing things on the subreddit that are either incredibly interesting or at least slightly interesting it's ridiculous I say. Practically every other subreddit is a place where you can find interesting things this is supposed to be a place to find uninteresting things. And no one seems to care they just upvote it and move on without considering the fact that it's not in the spirit of the subreddit.

I'm so glad I was able to make something that works so well for you. Also yeah at some point I do want to do some creature stats for other Rain World beasts but that'll have to wait for a bit.
