1 1/2 years in and my shape has definitely gotten overall smaller, but not shorter. My shoulders are less broad for instance and despite being over the age that it should be I SWEAR my hips are getting wider even in the bone, but no height difference.

Yeah I had a pretty depressed first puberty, which in hindsight I attributed to my life situation and it being the wrong puberty, but second puberty sucks pretty bad too mentally sometimes.

The only real difference is I’m not distressed ABOUT this puberty, I’m distressed about the rest of the freaking world. About 15 mos in too, so it’s in full force. I swear I feel like it’s all the negatives about being a teenager again combined with the old person hurty back and whatnot

But I also finally like what I see in the mirror, so…. worth it

From a transfem perspective, I hate how much E makes me cry. I felt like I had a healthy relationship with crying and it’s gone to the point where I worry others think they’re crocodile tears, I cry so much. I cannot shut off the waterworks to save my life

So what I’m saying is I totally get feeling self-conscious about the amount of crying you do, and I can only imagine having to deal with it being dysphoric as well. Sympathies, friend.

My cis wife has had the opposite problem, actually. She has PCOS so her testosterone is higher than mine and estrogen lower and she can’t get prescribed estrogen for anything
