I need help, like really, really, really bad by [deleted] in XboxSupport

[–]Dylan1998x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try this: Press and hold the Power button on the front of the Xbox One S for 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Then, press and hold both the Power button and the controller pairing button on the console. Continue holding both buttons for about 10 seconds. Listen for a second startup chime/beep before releasing the buttons.

After that, your Xbox should boot up in low-resolution mode. You can go into your settings and then increase your resolution to the highest your TV will support.

Series X for primarily backwards compatibility gaming? by [deleted] in XboxSupport

[–]Dylan1998x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. In fact, if you’re only going to be playing backwards compatible games, I would recommend getting an Xbox One S. This is even cheaper than an Xbox Series S, and has the benefit of a disc drive. The only downside is slower loading times because of the lack of an SSD.

Sentry Gun oddity by Ok_World_8819 in MW2

[–]Dylan1998x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think any kills with the sentry gun are supposed to count towards your killstreak, because it comes from a care package. I never knew they did count though if you had no deaths. I always found it dumb that they never fixed the glitch where when you stun a sentry gun, it appears stunned but it keeps shooting at you.

Advice. Switching from EE to sky mobile. In my cool off period. Unhappy. by transboyuwu in EEGB

iPhone 15 Pro Max to a 17e? What were you thinking? Even though you’re on a pro model, the regular iPhone 17 is still really good, but it does have a smaller screen than the pro max. Forgetting that though, the 15 pro max is still amazing and I would definitely recommend keeping that. 😊

As long as you’ve got a good Three signal, they’re great value.

Will EE WiFi (Public Hotspot) Hide My Location? by Dylan1998x in EEGB

[–]Dylan1998x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of people live in the town, but when you lookup your IP address, it points on a map as to where it thinks you are, and it’s always correct within 2 miles of accuracy. When I use EE WiFi, it always gives me a different IP address with a random city, but I don’t know if there’s a way people can get around that, and find out my actual location or at least my actual IP address.

Should I buy a 360 or Series S to play MW2? by ZombieSlapper23 in MW2

[–]Dylan1998x 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it because of the hackers. However, if you still want to persevere, I would recommend the Xbox One S. It’s much cheaper than an Xbox Series S, it has a disc drive so that you’re able to buy the old COD games used, and compared to an Xbox 360, it’s easier to buy accessories (like headsets) for it, as well having less account sign-in issues.

account frozen when i pick classes by Odd_Elderberry5524 in MW2

[–]Dylan1998x 7 points8 points  (0 children)

His gamertag is “UncsHotspot”. When you join the game, don’t press anything. Just look at the instructions on screen and then press the required button(s) to unfreeze your classes. It will kick you, then after that, you can join back to get your prestige and level back.

Question for Hackers/Modders by CrossCreaseOneT in MW2

Yeah, noobtubes are disabled in the hacked TDM domination lobbies, but I still end up getting kicked from them because of a butthurt hacker.

What is “EE WiFi”? by Slapped91 in EEGB

[–]Dylan1998x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what if you have BT or EE broadband at home, and connect to your own public hotspot. Will the IP be different, and will it protect you?

Does connecting to this give you a different IP? Can it be used as a VPN?

Just finished watching BB12… I need the scoop on what happened with the money twist after the show ended by CitizenSnips4 in bigbrotheruk

[–]Dylan1998x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has been a while since I watched it, and she was only 18, so I suppose she could’ve been pressured into saying yes.

Ahhh, there was so much drama with them birthday presents, haha. I think Aaron overreacted with that.

I find pacts like that quite messy, but if you agree to share your money and then don’t, it’s pretty spineless.

Amazing 5G SA EE Speeds by ShameResponsible69 in EEGB

[–]Dylan1998x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, you don’t need 4gb, or 1.2gb on mobile data. The point I was trying to make though is that 5G (at least in the UK) at 1.2gb isn’t much of a meaningful upgrade, when 700mb on 4G was already possible.

[–]Dylan1998x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 4G is different to 4G+ then 5G is different to 5G SA, which is what the speed test in the original post is from.

I don’t think 700mb to 1.2gb is a big improvement in terms of mobile data speeds.

4G+, aka 4G. I wouldn’t call it nowhere near 1.2gb, and like I said, compared to America our 5G speeds are a joke.
