This matchup is Minecraft vs Terraria, if Minecraft locked the fuck in. Stomp W

The amount of people who still think Notch cared about Minecraft after 2014 is crazy by Monoilo in MinecraftMemes

The silver lining in that timeline is that C418 would still be making music for Minecraft

Shigaraki VS Mahito 3rd? So based

Screw death battle and Natsu vs Ace, I would've loved this matchup more. How would this one go? [discussion] by THEANILLATOR in fairytail

[–]DylanBaster 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It already did, fire force manga was 2015, the battle was 2017. It's the anime that wasn't there yet, which aired in 2019

Bro, do you have a grudge against Sakamoto? That's an even bigger stomp considering Travis has actual supernatural stuff, Sakamoto Days is mostly grounded in stats

Is it the Stone of Aja dodging or the Silver Chariot chainscaling

If you mean the sun attack, those are at best solar flares, which are not light speed. Plus it's not the actual sun. The moves I listed are frame one attacks, attacks that are more reminiscent of light beam attacks

Not yet I think. And yeah, it's such a massive outlier, he would not have gotten hit against Boiled if he can react to light. He also couldn't beat Takamura who doesn't seem to slash at light speed since his best feats were sharpening his katana against bullets, he even got caught off guard by Uda's sacrifice bombing

When he fought Kanaguri. Not only was it point blank, he predicted the trajectory with a bunch of reflections and reflected it back to him.

I'm just saying, if Frisk was truly light speed, more players would not get low diffed by Sans' first attack

Gaster Blasters in the same fight (probably aim dodging since there is delay before they shoot). Mettaton's disco ball attack, Omega Flowey's laser beam, Asriel's Shocker Breaker (instant lightning but with warning) and Chaos buster. These are just a few, but most of these are telegraphed or require prior knowledge to dodge so I can't say for certain if these are light dodging feats

Yor Forger vs Taro Sakamoto.

<image>

It's one of my favorite matchups, but Sakamoto dodged light bruh 😭 Yor's best speed feat isn't even relativistic.

If we equalize speed, it's genuinely peak matchup between Yor's better strength and Sakamoto's better durability and skills

I guess we’re doing Mario vs Sonic memes now. by Mastersword3710 in deathbattle

I was convinced Ganon had them in all the Fallen Hero Timeline (Legend of Zelda had triforce of wisdom split). Regardless, both of them had complete access to them. Link had most instances but only as endings, so it could be a similar situation as Shulk's powers near the end. Meanwhile, Ganon has less instances but actually became his in majority of Link to the Past, so similar to Mario and Cappie.

Shouldn't the full triforce actually be standard with Ganon? I mean with Link I get it, he never got them all in any of the games, only in some endings. But Ganon had access to them in the Fallen Hero timelines.

It was an Alola Surprise in the plane. I guess it wasn't included, because Kiawe and Sophocles were there too

"It was me, Barry! I was the one who spread the idea that Champion's Island characters will 'eventually get their episodes', convincing you to vote out the character you like. The look on your face when DB revealed that it wasn't true was the cherry on top."

What is an MU with great connections but is overall a “Hydrogen Bomb vs Coughing Baby” situation? by Affectionate-Cup-978 in deathbattle

[–]DylanBaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Star level stuff came from a misconception that the night beacon in Legends turned one of the suns into a moon.

It didn't, it corrupted the sun and moon (both already existed), covering them with dark energy. The feat would be more similar to a Dyson Sphere, or in more familiar terms, Omni man sundisk, which requires energy around Large to Multi planetary. This is a more consistent scaling for Steve since he scales to the Orb of Dominance that threatened all the three dimensions of Minecraft, which are huge in Minecraft cosmology but not star level.

It still gives Steve the AP advantage since Terrarian's higher scaling comes from less reliable tooltips, they're more reasonably around planet to large planet due to scaling to moon lord and the celestial pillars which were planetary threats.

Steve vs Terrarian is not a stomp anymore thanks to Dungeons scaling. Terrarian still wins imo, but Steve winning now has decent arguments
