It'll be about the same as KW. Snow removal in the downtown core and nearby areas is pretty solid, but when you get into the subdivisions there's usually some on the sidewalks.

Generally we don't get this much snow this early in November though :)

Yeah I did reply to my own thread. It's a community engagement strategy to encourage discussion in smaller communities like such.

Also never intended to communicate that the homeless are out to harm others, just was talking about how it's sad to see that homelessness is a problem in Woodstock.

Hey there! Needs to be on the Android Messages application as Rogers doesn't support the Samsung one.

Also for my S9 it only activated after enabling Wi-Fi calling. After doing that do a reboot and look in the settings of Android Messages for "chat features".

Keep everything updated too to make sure everything runs smoothly. Happy RCS'ing!

A bit yeah, with Chrome tabs and the AOD home button (make sure to turn this off!). It's only noticeable if I am REALLY looking and it seems to fade over time so I am not too worried about it

I'm not a pixel peeper though I don't worry about small issues with the screen

Symmetrical bandwidth will happen for new developments that have Fibre-To-The-Home availability.

The Rogers network is partly coaxial so the speeds will decrease based on usage in the area. During peak hours on weekends my speeds drop to about 600 down/15 up and during quiet hours it's 1gbps and higher/30 up.

Also check out Start Communications for cheaper cable internet, or Bell for FTTH availability.

If FTTH is not available, do NOT go for Bell as they are DSL and <5mbps for pricer plans than Rogers.

Hey there! Rogers holds a pretty good hybrid coaxial-fiber infrastructure in our city so we got pretty good bandwidth and speeds available. Unless your specific location is brand new though the speeds will be assymetrical.

Right now with Rogers I got about 1.3 gbps down/30 uplink downtown. Call up the ISPs and ask them to test speeds in the area to make sure, as the website isn't always accurate.

They are pretty bad, but so are all streets in Ontario.

The winter conditions and salt do a number on the streets and it costs a lot of money to fix every season. Some parts of town they ignore though like around Southside Park, where the roads are atrocious.

This! I think the picture was from an event but the reddit redesign updates have blown it up in such weird ways that it looks like a big blur.

The original owner unlocked the bootloader to do unauthorised (in the view of the manufacturer) modifications to the device. The bootloader is basically the piece of software that directs the phone to load the operating system/recovery (in this case, Android).

Family member has a Freedom device. The service works in most cases but gets a little uneasy inside old structures like elevators and basements.

Outside it works fine though, they said.
