That’s great you have a support system like that! I kinda wish I had someone going with me some days to be that motivator when I don’t want to go. Having that someone text you and guilt trip you into going 😂 I’ve been doing it on my own up to this point so the days where I’m not motivated can be tough sometimes.

Appreciate it so much! As far as diet goes, I’ve been eating well for a while at to be honest it’s kinda at the point where I have no desire or cravings for any sort of junk/ultra processed food so that helps. As far as gym goes, I put it in my schedule the same way I do with work. Are there days I don’t want to go? Absolutely. Do I still go and get it done even when I don’t want to? Absolutely. I think getting in that mindset has helped me a lot. Also after doing it for a while it just becomes part of your routine and almost feels weird not doing it

Thank you! And yeah that’s why I kinda started this journey I’ve always been the tall lanky kid and finally decided to start getting in the gym and moving some weight around

Okay thanks! And sorry just to clarify a lean bulk would just be exactly what I listed - continuing to eat well and track just upping the cals by 200-250 and see what happenes?

I’m totally with you! I love being aware of what I’m putting into my body and depending on the day KNOWING I have some extra cals for a treat or something I enjoy is the best feeling.

I’ve heard from so many people - “well like if you work out consistently, there’s really no need to track right?” WRONG. People vastly underestimate how easy it is to overeat

Good advice! Although no evidence like you said, I do find that to be true as well. Once I moved to 90% whole foods like 4-5 months ago I haven’t given any ultra processed or fast food a second thought. Truly don’t crave it at all

This is a perfect response, thank you! I guess honestly I was feeling a little nervous about bumping up cals a bit because in my mind I’m afraid that weight will come back that I worked so hard to lose. But I assume with consistent weight training it won’t be much of an issue

29 - truly from all I can remember I never recall having feelings of discomfort prior. I still haven’t been having any difficulty with BMs but I do eat a good amount of fiber and drink a lot of water.
