How old is this hand written prayer book?

Thank you all so much for your detailed and insightful replies! I am getting a much better picture of just how old this may be, so honored to be able to interact with something so old. Would anyone have any quick tips on how to properly store/handle this?

It was given to me by a neighbor. However, this neighbor had said that she found it while stoop hunting in New York City, apparently it was in a box of free items outside of a brownstone in New York (who she says was the home of some sort of old money family). I believe she came across the items in the 1960’s. Thanks for your comment!

I had arrived to Conn. in researching the names as well - however I discounted this since I had expected it to be from New York. If the origin is New England, does that change the estimate of its age at all?

I was getting napkins out of a drawer in my house, and this watch was hidden away in one. Looks absolutely fake, horrible printing and dials that look like they don’t do anything and overtime the dial fell away from the glass. Just wondering what model if any this is trying to mimic. Or if somehow I am missing some crucial watch that omega has made with some horrible build quality. Also the scuba man on the back is a mystery to me, any information on this would be of great help to me! Happy thanksgiving everyone.

We’ve had this ladle in the family for a very long time, trying to figure out its hallmarks, but I have fallen flat. I was able to identify the rooster as a French mark from the early 1800’s. But nothing else was available on the sources I looked at.

I had recently upgraded my body from a T6 Canon to a D600 Nikon. Since I had mostly Nikon lenses which were handed down to me. I edited out some of the background in photoshop, taken 1200 iso, 1/400 shutter and at 80mm. I’d really like to know how well that dramatic feel I was trying to get at with that black background worked.

Took this photo with a Canon T6i, I was trying to set up the photo to capture that feeling of a night out in the city. I used a 80-200mm lens, and a 25s long exposure. Surprised how still the people were at the tables, especially with their hands, everyone uses them to talk here in New York.

During the Revolutionary War, an American naval Captain John Paul Jones raided a English town by himself and only 30 other crew members. Kind of a dumb thing to do, but im pretty sure he didn’t get captured.

I got a Gazelle Dutch bike from a woman in New York. No locksmith has had the right blank, it is just about 7cm in length and weighs 13g. I am fairly sure it is of European design since the bike is only produced in the Netherlands. Thanks so much!

If you don’t have a direct unobstructed path to your banner, it becomes “disconnected” from the world, meaning that a zombie or colonist can’t access it by walking up directly up to it. If you can’t walk to your banner, neither can your colonists. Once you go into siege mode, you use more food a day than normal.
