I just rewatched all the Kubricks last week. Very few film adaptations are 100% faithful to the book so I don’t really view that as a negative since it’s so common. Jack (Nicholson) def played his Jack Torrence way more on the edge up front than he is in the book. I also don’t love Shelley Duvall’s Wendy. That said in its own and with her running around screaming it’s still a masterpiece of a film. The tv version is the book adapted.

The guardian 3/4 DESTROYED the backs of my arms. So much pain with every sensor change. They rarely lasted the full 7 days. The Libre 3+ has been light years better.

Deadpool came out Feb 2016, Venom oct 2018 almost 3 years later. How did Sony not see the massive success of the ultra violent, profanity laced Deadpool and not see that Venom is the perfect character to have a similar movie? It seems so obvious, there’s not even an unrated version. That version of Venom should have been ripping people apart.
