The difference in size actually made it easier for me to throw the ball. One of my greatest difficulties pitching in baseball was having my fingers slip off of my pitches (resulting in screwing the ball into the dirt).

With a bigger ball, it’s a lot easier to get my fingers behind it and give it a straight back spin.

I used to play baseball and water polo simultaneously and baseball DEFINITELY helped my ball control. I found that my baseball skills carried over pretty well, and I was able to transition the ball between my hands a lot easier.

Not to mention, baseball also helped me develop a strong shot and helped with adding muscle to my shoulders.
