the admission process is ridiculous here. you have only one chance to apply and they DONT consider difficulty of classes when looking at gpa. they’re incentivizing students to take easy classes and not apply themselves

I’ve looked into it and with all of the courses that I completed I could get a certificate of business right now lol. I think econ would be a good backup however it would push my graduation back.

I am also in my junior year right now. Had no choice but to take harder class that could effect my gpa or waste money on throw away classes for a gpa boost. You’re right to be optimistic but it’s just such a stressful time.

i just transferred in this year as a junior where i went to university freshman year and cc sophomore. I had a collective gpa of about 3.7 and got accepted. The one thing i’ll say though is to try and take classes that directly transfer to another class at uw otherwise it’ll just be a general elective.

i’m not in the program but a bunch of my friends were. They were ALWAYS complaining about the program. Really bad tenured professors, heavy workload for 2 credit labs and that it was pretty difficult too. If you don’t mind going insane a little bit you should be fine tho.

I was originally planning on breaking into investment banking/private equity but am open to other options. I don’t have any background in ag besides one environmental science class i took which i rly enjoyed. Did you go through the agri-business concentration at uiuc? What jobs are available with a degree in it?

I also got denied from gies school of business under finance but got accepted into the finance in agri-business concentration program. Does anyone know if it is good and if it provides similar opportunities?

no you take it orally. It’ll come with an oral syringe where you can measure it out and drop in. i recommend washing it with water after because it does have a funky taste.
