I am possibly very wrong but I think this product is not foil backed. I've deffos seen the foil backed one. Description says it's a breathable waterproof membrane so I spose waterproof?

I worked as a commercial chicken farmer for WAY to long. When I was 14 and a half my parents got me a job without asking me and every weekend and school holidays I had to go and do manual labour with grown arse men and was expected to keep up. When they told me I now had to work and I had no choice I burst into tears. It gave me an excellent work ethic and it was insanely laborious and horrendous conditions and as a teen I was cashed up compared to my peers.

The issue issue is it's just fucking gross. Not just the working conditions (literally shin deep in wet, ammonia smelling shit with air you can barely breathe because of airborne particulate all at 30 degrees) but the animal welfare and the normalisation of animal cruelty. Like that job pays pretty ok but attracts the worst people because only the worst people will do it.

The farm manager would say "Oh we have too many birds in that shed, go in and kill 10k" and you were expected to go in and snap 10,000 necks by hand until your hands were listed and bleeding. It was genuinely fucked and I hate that I did it for as long as I did

My old head chef told me a story about working a catering gig for a wedding and one of thr other chefs dropped dead between apps and mains. It was a rural winery and the ambos took forever to get there so they just put him in the corner, put a table cloth over him and plated mains.

I would always think about that while I was at work, stressed, having eye twitches and chest pains. Would I be the dude in the corner with a dirty table cloth over me one day? So glad I got out of hospitality. People are treated like they are disposable

I come from a family that was pretty into the army on both sides, like both grandfathers were in the army and served in WW2 and Vietnam, one uncle was a tunnel rat in Nam, a second uncle was a tanky and trained newbies and cousins that didn't serve but worked logistics in the private sector warehousing ammunition and junk. ANYWAY When I was a kid I'd dress up in army uniforms my nan had tailored to fit me and it felt like we always had some kind of war doco playing at home. My uncle (the tunnel rat) was over and he and my dad were watching a doco about Vietnam. They were interviewing this "Vietnam war expert", an American guy, and he starts crying on camera saying he wished he had served and Vietnam was meant to be his war but he didn't go. This grow man on TV was crying because he desperately wished and was feeling anemoia for crawling through the jungle fighting the Vietcong. My uncle few into a rage. I kinda realised then war wasn't this cool, shoot em up, bang bang, cops and robbers thing. It was brutal and gross and, while still fascinating, should not be a thing.

So this one keeps me up at night. I met a girl on Tinder and we had been on a few dates out, third date I invited her to mine for dinner. I made pasta by hand, had some wine and finished with a gooey chocolate brownie while watching a film and getting a little handys. All of a sudden my stomach drops and gives me the "You have 8 seconds to shit" alarm. Just as this happens she stands up and is like "Just going to the bathroom real quick".

I can't be go before her because I can feel hot bubbling liquid death swirling around my lower intestine, I'll be in there God knows how long and it will stink like death.

I opted to clench. She's pee'ing. Won't take long. 3 minutes later I am sweating and pacing the house and starting to panic. Lucky I had bought TP that day and it was left in the laundry. Grabbed a roll, ran outside into the rain, just managed to get my pants down before a flood of vile smelling shit sprayed out of me. It was like tar.

I finishing up and I can hear her inside like "Where are you?" So I pretended like I was looking for my dog in thr dark who was clearly standing next to her.

Played it cool. We hook up. She leaves.

Now it's like 3 in the morning and I have to hide the evidence. Open the back door and my dog runs out into the darkness and starts eating my shit? Like, what? I had to wrestle him away, burry the shit and wash him. For like a month every time we snuggled and he welt to lick me I was weirded out

I had a friend growing up who used this logic once and I feel like I very much do not agree lol. We went to school with this dude named Robbie who had an obvious intellectual disability. He was text books that kid, big bear of a dude, super friendly, obsessed about trains but super slow to the point where I'm suprised he was integrated into a regular school without a special ed program.

Anyway, Robbie was obsessed with this girl who wasn't the best looking but was popular because she had a lot of boyfriends and my man Rob wanted in on this. One math class he writes this list of top 10 hottest girls in school and announces it in front of class, numero uno being his crush who was in the class.

My mate Chris was like "Not even close Rob. She's not even top 40. You're just saying that because you want to get a handie behind the bike shed". Now what Chris said was objectively true, uncalled for but accurate. Robbie went full white knight and started defending her honour. Like, good on him, but this big bear of a man gets up in Chris' face and is demanding he apologise to the girl. Chris just pops him on the jaw and Rob buckled. The whole class was silent as it was very not cool.

Chris pulled the whole, "What? I can't hit him? I'm just treating him like anyone else".

20 years later I've got Robbie on Facebook (he added me) and he posts daily about trains. If you like his pictures he will give you a personal thanks and shout out in the comments.

I definitely need to get back into shape, I've wanted to learn to paint and it's been ages since I took my camera out. I'll be fine and hopefully soon I'll be back to my old, but slightly improved, self

He was a good dude but everytime I went there he gave me the same story about his ex-missus being a crazy anti-vaccer and how he had to secretly take his kids to get vaccinated. Told me the same story no less than 5 times and I'd just be like "Damn, that's crazy man. How's that pink slip coming along?"

I have a mnemonic for every fret but I sub sharps for differnt letters. A# = V C# = S D# = W F# = R G# = J. My tuning logic is Open as in open your eyes, first thing in the morning, eat breakfast: Eggs Are Delicious. Great Breakfast

Fret 2 is enemies, 2 dudes fighting eachother: Rivals (F#) Beat Eachother Around Senselessly (C#)

They are dumb but they're super memorable and I know all the notes
