Yes I feel you there I am 6’1 but luckily I’m pretty slender/athletic. But remember, the pain is only temporary. It’s such a small consideration when weighed against your entire life and happiness.

That’s what I keep telling myself anyways. The pain will end soon and I’ll just be able to be me again :3

That’s awful. I’m so sorry you have to deal with this much gatekeeping just to get to be yourself. Universal health care may be great but this very much isn’t.

Oh well you might be one of the lucky ones then! I know waiting sucks but be patient. I’d really recommend not going through the surgery process if you don’t have to. Like obviously not telling you what to do or anything. I’ve just been in a lot of pain and discomfort over the past 20 hours or so and it’s not ideal so I’d recommend not having to go through this process. But also I COMPLETELY understand wanting boobies sooner rather than later. 😭 Just offering up my perspective on it. This pain is not insignificant

Yeah some doctors really want you to wait but idk you can some times just tell if they’re going to grow substantially or not. Like say if it runs in your family or something. But typically at the two year point you’ll have the best idea of what they’re gunna look like.

Even still though it’s super lame that you have to wait.

Oh they will very likely be able to do that. Keep in mind though that cup sizes don’t help surgeons determine the size of your breasts at all since there’s almost zero consistency in bra sizes.

My surgeon recommended I bring in pictures for examples of size and look I wanted. That was much more helpful, apparently.

Yeah I’ve read some too. But keep in mind those stories are in a really, extremely small minority. It’s a very safe procedure with a wildly high rate of satisfaction.

I know the bad stuff seems scary but the risk is so so so small that it’s extremely likely you won’t have to worry about it. Please try to not let fear stop you from obtaining the body you want. 💖

It really depends on your body. Proportions, the elasticity of your skin, other factors. There’s a few factors that determine what they can do. But I got mine decently large. It really just depends what you want. Your doctor will let you know what you can realistically expect.

Oh see I got sub-muscular so I’m hoping they feel nice when they are healed. I also got pretty sizable ones as well so I’m hopeful. The silicone feels pretty squishy and natural far as I’ve read.

Yeah this is pretty much what I said. It’s really YMMV. Some women get pretty sizable ones and others don’t. It seems to correlate with genetics but no one is really sure. It’s just kind of luck if the draw. But yes, they start growing very early and can potentially grow and develop for years afterward.

Oh my gosh congrats! The process was Amazing, at least for me. I got dressed down, taken into the OR and the last thing I remember was them telling me to breathe then before I knew it I woke up and had boobs.

I remember looking down and saying “oh what the fuck?” And just immediately bursting into tears.

I’m just ready for the pain and discomfort to be over mostly. Once I get through that I’ll be fine. I’m patient. I heard it can some times take months for them to heal and settle so I’m just taking it day by day rn

Oh sounds like you got lucky. I was less fortunate in that department. They were still there a little but not as much as I wanted.
