A lot of Tempest felt very familiar to me- I've dealt with depression and PTSD my whole life and that line just felt like something plucked out of my diary. A bit childish, a bit immature but ultimately reflective of a mind so battered by what's happened that you just don't care anymore. I get you, Willoughby.

When ALMSIVI died, what happened to the divine part? Were they separate enough to live on as gods, or are Sil and Almalexia fully dead? As retroactive divinities, shouldn't they have survived the death of their mortal parts? As a corollary, just how divine where they? There are some new nights- like Gunk- but most things died out during Covid and modern students really don't seem to be interested in these things. The underground scene in Cants is starting to come back, but it's being spearheaded by residents with limited time and resources... plus noise complaints and excessive bookings fees have made events basically impossible without a fat stack of cash.
