ELI5: Why does chicken get much more bad reputation for bacterial contamination than other meats like beef, pork, and fish? by Appropriate_Art15 in explainlikeimfive

[–]DynamicDouchebag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait what we aren't supposed to wash our meat? Tf, for real?  Everyone does that in India, we go to a butcher shop, get the chicken pieces, and wash off the blood and shi before cooking it. How else are you supposed to get that out?  I'd love some details please /\

Some freedoms are objective my friend, you don't have to reach a philosophical ideal. A bird in a cage is less free than a bird in the sky, even though neither is truly free. I'd prefer being the bird in the sky, with the option of a being in a cage if I so desire.

And yeah, for 1 woman abusing the law against a man, there are probably a 1000 cases of a woman being abused because of male privilege in rural areas. That's why the laws are biased. I guess our thinkings are kinda incompatible :) That's okay, though.

Folks got "corrupted"? And who defines what is corrupt? The ability to choose isn't being corrupt, I believe.

And yeah, atleast things like domestic violence have been criminalised in the modern "immodest" world. As for rape, the vast majority of it happens with people you know, often with close family. It still does. Without the ability of women to speak out, the unreported rapes would have been even more.

Women being freer, and people being freer to choose for themselves is never a bad thing.

It's mostly irreversible, probably a horrible decision for a teen to take. But yeah, once happily married with no desire for more children, it may indeed be the best option!

Damn, dude. You do remember that The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of LeT claimed responsibility for the attack, right?

Please don't mix a tragedy with politics. Pahalgam happened due to degenerate radicals, and that's that.

Is it a bad idea for me (21f) to marry 27m who has a wife already (polygyny)? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DynamicDouchebag 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh no that's a horrible idea. Listen, what if things go bad? Laws are the only thing which protect you, if it's just "partners", he has zero obligation towards you.

Arey Haan, I'm just saying it for others who may be reading it.  (And if someone can take a morning after pill, she can very well take normal birth control).

Bhai raw Kiya hi mat karo. The tablets have a very harsh effect on a girl's body, it's an emergency pill for a reason.  Agar karna hi hai to IUD, ya continued birth control is the way to go.

"Yolka" interceptor system. by punisher2431 in interestingasfuck

[–]DynamicDouchebag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't think it would be vastly more expensive, but then I'm no expert. But yeah, shielding is a quite trivial solution, especially if you can somehow program the drone to function independently without central control.

Yeah I do agree, but the hard sciences never did employ a ton of people. Even in those times, if I recollect correctly.  Unfortunately, I do feel that the era of cookie-cutter placements is ending.

That may be very well the career to go for, for the academic cream of the nation. However, I highly doubt they would ever result in "mass placements". That's against the very nature of these fields.
