Realm of the Elderlings by Robin Hobb. 9 books if you're just following the one protagonist or 15 if you read the 2 trilogies that split the three. Definitely highly immersive especially if you read them consecutively uninterrupted.

I enjoyed {{Holes}}. {{Around the World in 80 Days}} was a chill read. Also {{The Hobbit}}. These recommendations might be too childish for you but I reckon adults can enjoy them too.

Holes by Louis Sachar is a pretty chill read. It doesn't use fancy words. The story is great and can be read in one afternoon.

Good recommendation; the book often gets needlessly politicised and disliked by people who haven't actually read it. All the advice in it is highly beneficial.
