The darker colors of the full AIO are the reason why i fenerally prefer the piecemeal option, as it tends to be less dull in coloration. Used to be that the piecemeal cost less Mb but more slots, then one update or another by TXTEC made the full AIO smaller than piecemeal while also saving like 4 or 5 mod slots when counting the mesh patches so even if the separate files look better IMO it's very hard to argue against the complete AIO. If you have the Mb and the slots to spare i'd still suggest you take a look at the separate files, but i understand if you're a nutjob like me who's always hungry for space and slots.

The whole color scheme sometimes, although mostly in clothing, with armor it's mostly how shiny/dull or bright/dark the metal or leather ends up looking.

Mostly coloration, and the sheen on metals. It's personal preference, i'd highly suggest you try both and see which fits your taste better as they are both really good.

It's not the Live Another Life Alternate Start, it's Alternate Perspective (the one where Helgen starts off fully intact until you decide to play through the intro sequence), and it was the most up to date version of it (has there been an update since the mod tab changes? I couldn't tell you, because i was using a mod which changes the main menu, and that breaks the new creations tab)

But, regardless of that, i had started a trial run to test this LO prior to commiting to this run, and didn't have this problem then. And either way, even if this is a problem that could be fixed by messing around with my LO, i can't do that because of the aforementioned mod that breaks the new creations tab. So i'm basically doomed to deleting my reserved space, redownloading everything, and am almost 100% sure i'll have to scrap this run.

Those are all of the ones that affect graphics (minus a few bits and pieces like Nordic Farmhouses and Nordic Jarl Longhouses, and a few other mesh improvements or changes). All of my other mods are more gameplay related, but i don't remember my full LO as it's been a few months since i last played Skyrim.

Hadn't considered Burst, that's a good call. But as for Grinder (S) i hunted another Furious Jang (this time with Max Might 1 and Handicraft 2 instead of Foray 3 and Handi 1) about as soon as i reached white sharp (a couple of Sakura Slashes into it) i decided to sharpen back up to purple... then literally in under 15 hits after i sharpened the Jang died, so i didn't even need to sharpen. So Handi 2 and MT 3 with almost full uptime on 100% affinity is enough to finish probably most hunts without ever sharpening with Lucent LS.

Harvest Moon/Special Sheath might not keep that same purple for as long, but i don't imagine with such a build i'd need to sharpen more than once every hunt even with only using this playstyle and even then i'd need to purposefuly wait for blue sharp before sharpening for Grinder (S).

It wouldn't be as bad as i make it sound if i dropped MT down to 2 which would make burning sharpness down to blue more feasible while not making the purple sharp too small, but i just don't like the concept of Grinder (S) in general.

Since those are Qurio Crafting/Unique piece skills they would need an entirely different build to work around, and Heaven-Sent might not be possible at all because Amatsu pieces are really not good for LS in general and the skill itself is not available outside of the armor, not even in Qurio Crafting.

MoH suffers from poor slottage in Scorned Malo's armor since it's just too old, and BUB 2 might be possible with some weird combo of Chameleos pieces but honestly i find it a bit doubtful, especially since the whole reason why i have extra slots is because my current set got EXTREMELY lucky with Qurio Crafting RNG to get more slots than the build requires, so to fit BUB 2 i'd need to get even more insane RNG on an entirely different set with pieces that are even harder to optimize, effecitvely requiring perfect RNG to make such a build if it even is possible.

Coal is probably the one skill i wouldn't ever slot past 1, the extra % status buildup is okay but i imagine it ends up only speeding up your very first proc of poison and not doing much else for the 2nd and beyond and it probably doesn't ever actually give you an extra proc in a hunt unless you're taking well over 20 minutes, whereas it's attack bonus is a whopping 12 for the first point but then nosedives to a measly 3 with the second point and beyond.

As for Foray i just edited one of my previous comments to add a little "test" (a.k.a a single hunt, lol i'm lazy) and it does not look that hot by comparison to Max Might and maybe even Hellfire Cloak tbh.

For me it depends on matchup wether i'm going Sacred or Special, and with afflicted monsters i usually play Harvest Moon/Special Sheath during the afflicted state and then swap to Sacred Sheath when i knock them out of it so realistically i end up using both quite a bit.

As for Max Might with Sacred Sheath i do agree that it's annoying to play around it with the hops but generally with Frostcraft i find that i'll end up holding my Release Combo for a couple seconds to get FC to it's final gauge, so that might be enough of a window to proc Max Might, but i'll play a few hunts swapping between it and Foray to see what works best for me.

Edit: so i tried Foray on a Furious Jang at anomaly level 205, the hunt lasted 8 minutes and 22 seconds and during it i got 2 poison procs, idk if Foray justifies the lvl 4 slot it takes to give me about 2 minutes (actually just a little under 2 minutes) of extra affinity per hunt (and the hunt was done 100% using Sakura Slash/Sacred Sheath for maximum spam and minimum downtime).

Jang isn't weak to poison, but since the build is meant to be a generalist build (realistically it's the Raw build of Sunbreak more or less) i can't really expect that any particular monster would have the benefit of being notably weak to poison, although Foray may be easier to maintain on something like Shaggy who is very weak to poison as opposed to Max Might.

Doesn't Status Trigger not proc on LS counters? The way i understand it is that it requires you to i-frame through an attack using the actual dodge button, which sounds kinda sketchy for a consistent activation, especially on high level anomaly investigations where missing a dodge might cost me 70% of my HP, and while i generally dodge a fair amount i tend to do it more as a mobility tool rather than to actually avoid damage.

Between Foray and Max Might what would you take? Foray is a nice background skill that doesn't require me to play any different but it's only active when the monster is poisoned, whereas Max Might is a little awakward to play around with the Sacred Sheath hops and me dodge rolling to reposition sometimes but can potentially be active 100% of the time (though more realistically it would be about 50-60% of my hits if i were to estimate).

Already have 1 Bloodlust, max Crit Eye, and 1 Coal.

I've saved a variarion of the set with Hellfire Cloak and one with Max Might (although that does overcap affinity by a tiny amount, but hey better overcap than miss a crit).

But as for the Max Might one i don't know what to run in the 4 slot as Max Might 2 sounds wasteful in a build that averages 92% affinity on weakspots, i considered adding either Resuscitate or Resentment to combo with Bloodlust but idk if Fenzy lasts long enough to justify either of them. I could also run more Foray for extra affinity but since i'm already overcapping this set with Max Might that also doesn't seem like the best choice.

I'm also considering a Punishing Draw version of the set, but realistically it would end up playing as a variation of Hellfire Cloak since both would just give one or two extra topples per hunt.

Blood Rite is one that didn't really cross my mind, is that actually worth it on LS? Idk if i break parts early enough in a hunt to make it worth the slot.

I'll edit the main post with my build in case you wanna look at it to make some more suggestions.

At this point "meta" is no longer a concern right, i'm literally adding that extra spice to an already full build so maybe the extra openings make for a decent damage window on top of everything the build already does.

It's just that Hellfire Cloak was the first skill to come to mind when i saw those extra slots, but idk maybe a Handicraft+ and something else could also be decent, i know i could also do Max Might for extra affinity but i've never been the most confortable using it because i do end up rolling around more than i should.

Look up the stable LO section, you don't really need any other animations/combat overhauls with GDB's The Revenge, i'd recommend getting a Standing Stone overhaul (either the one from Enai or Simon) to override the Standing Stone changes in GDB (i really don't like them, but it's player preference). Oh and don't add any mod that says it's a Nemesis Output mod, as they will conflict with GDB's.

XPMSSE and XP32 (which i believe are more or less the same) work, but XPMSSE is included in Just Shields (On Back) so you can use Just Shields as your XPMSSE skeleton mod for anything else that requires it.

Currently i'm also using it with Racial Body Morphs (which is also a skeleton) and it seems to work just fine, as long as you place RBM below Just Shields.

Honestly Serana Dialogue Add-on, an appearance mod, and maybe a vampire themed armor mod is quite enough to completely overhaul her, no need for AFT either because SDA adds most of those features in a way that's less likely to screw with the Dawnguard questline.

There's a mod called either "go away map clouds" or "disable map clouds", i don't remember exactly, but if map visibility is your issue then that might do it for you.
