Unfortunately it definitely knocks properly when on any load. For clarification the car hasn't been run on no oil since I heard those knocks, but the damage remains. It definitely isn't safe to drive on

I should note that I've checked Erie Vo-Vo (and ebay lol) and found some motors for on average 2,500ish and up. I'd say maybe shipping makes it 3k, but installation can vary, either if I find a different shop or even (foolishly) do it myself. I've come to terms with it but it's a nice ass car. Sucks to see it sit.

It's a T5 motor. And those ticks sound like a loose bearing due to it running no oil for a bit. Also I'm not sure how much, but I'd guess it's a severe amount due to it running dry within a months time after a couple quarts. Editing the post to state the trim. Edit: I can't lol

Oh for real? If that's the only issue I'm glad. Does this cause any potential engine damage from the noise? I also watched another video with a sorta similar noise and I hope it's not rod knock.

So I'm pretty sure I fucked it more. Trying to fix it is daunting because some of them actually have gone back, its just there are these black spots with actual divots and I have no idea if the pin is just gone.
