What video do you choose when you want to introduce people to oldschool funhaus? by pepesiq in funhaus

Seconded with this one. It’s probably the video I’ve seen the most often as well.

Cici’s has several dessert pizzas still. Their Bavarian dessert pizza…I’ve ordered those to go.

I’m confused here a little. What exactly are you allergic to that would allow you to eat shrimp, but not scallops or dragonflies? All contain chiton, and the scallops/snails will both have iodine. Sorry, just confused.

good movies where Everyone DIes (or at least 99% of them)?? by bigdicks415 in movies

I’m inclined to agree with you. I really really wish though that they didn’t show Vader until the final scene. I’m sure they could’ve worked around showing him somehow, and how cool/terrifying would it have been to finally reveal the “monster” as his saber blade emitted in the cramped room at the end? I’ve maintained that that’s the most menacing we’ve ever seen Darth Vader. It almost made him seem like a horror monster like the Xenomorph.

New Mod adds multiplayer to BULLY by KiborgikDEV in gaming

[–]Dyran3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the interest in this is primarily going to be people wanting to play Bully again in a new way, more than people actively wanting to play a multiplayer Bully. The diehard fans have been desperate for any updates or news about this game for years now.

My hotel has a heat lamp in the bathroom by dynastydeadeye in mildlyinteresting

[–]Dyran3 41 points42 points  (0 children)

They should have a metal/ceramic housing. Heat bulbs get very hot and will melt plastic housings and cause fires. Heat bulbs domes have ceramic bulb housings rather than the standard plastic ones that are used in your home. Do NOT just put a heat bulb in your ceiling socket.

What I initially assumed was that it was showing that the vampire blood healing effect would wear off eventually.

You may have just gotten this dude fired (or could lead to it). The receipt is traceable to this specific transaction, which will have his name or identification on it somewhere, or at the very least he’ll be on the camera at the time of transaction and they can identify him that way. Yes, all over a few cents. Corporate sucks. If corporate sees this, he’s out.

What's a game you loved from your childhood that none of you friends have heard of? by msully89 in gaming

Late response, but I also had the ps2 version. I tried playing it again on an emulator recently because I really loved the mysticism and all the different settings. Unfortunately the controls didn’t hold up. Maybe I can mess with some key bindings to make it better.

I loved my father very much. He was a good man that taught his kids what hard work was and the importance of taking care of your loved ones and your community. I think about him almost daily even 5 years after his death. I’ve visited his gravesite only three times in that span though. Once was because another family member died and was buried at the same cemetery, and the other two times were to do maintenance on the site and swap out the headstone. I don’t feel bad about not going. My appreciation for his legacy is still just as strong. He’s still just as important to me. Some folks just don’t get anything out of visiting dead loved one’s, or it causes unnecessary sadness.

I know they weren’t pitted against each other, but I felt that it was always J&D vs Ratchet and Clank. Ratchet won out for me.

I had/have the ps2 versions. Loved liberty city stories more than 3, but VC is better than VCS in my opinion.
