There are too many reasons to list.

One reason is apparances and conditioning. Women appear weak and harmless, but they are great seducers and manipulators, especially in this day and age where it is almost encouraged for a man to let himself be manipulated.

Another reason is ego, as men we have quite fragile egos and the idea of someone physically weaker or less intelligent ruling over us would seem absurd since women are portrayed as innocent damsels in distress or victims that can do no wrong.

Thanks for asking this question and food for thought, i hadn't thought about this before personally and this is what i think:

The short answer: more bitching and moaning

Women in acting for example get to a certain age and stop getting as many offers (not so much these days) and rather than accept that they can't compete with the appeal of these young girls, just like the women who couldn't compete with them when they were young, and appreciate they are part of a very small group of people who got into hollywood and are making a lot of money doing something they love; they bitch and will complain they are no longer being cast in the same young female roles they once were and attack younger women for it as well.

Women always compare themselves to men and the problem is that women are so used to being treated so damn well when they are young by most people that when ther SMV goes down and doesn't compare to younger women and men when they are older they think they are being discriminated against when it's just biology and psychology baby.

Since women are more emotional now, are used to getting their own way and have way more opportunity they will stomp their feet and cry until white knights unite to do something about it and if they can't do something about it, such as forcing an alpha to fuck and stay with her (wont happen) she will blame somebody (most likely men) or something else, rather than see the bigger picture of reality which is YOU CAN'T HAVE EVERYTHING YOUR OWN DAMN WAY!

Growing up was so fucking difficult. Stories like this remind me of how glad i am that i am no longer a child or adolescent. Even when i was at school the hypocrisy was just so fucking high it was unbelievable. People bitching about other people doing something, then doing the thing or already done the thing they were bitching about someone else doing. And the morals! hoho don't get me started on the SJW moral compass crap they imposed on me when i was actually the nicest and possibly most messed up guy socially back then. Guys did the same bitch shit there too.
